Sam's reminded me of what the Broken Spoke uses to be: nothing fancy, good cold beer, good music and nice women to dance with who know how to dance. These days the Spoke is full of tourists who don't know how to dance.

This was an absolute blast. There was live music and we had a totally great time. If you are into dive bars and true Austin hospitality this is a place for you. Specific experience, I actually left my jacket with my phone inside. We returned on a Saturday night past midnight and asked someone at the bar about it and they knew right away and had it handy! This will forever be a great spot for us. Live music, cold drinks and a true Austin feel.
