You've gotta try the biscuits. Melt in your mouth, delicious-ness. Everything I've eaten here has been amazing. But try the biscuits!!

Their food is honestly pretty mid, and service is even worse. I feel like we were constantly waiting to chase people down to ask for the check, to order more food, and to even see where our initial order was. They were doing a collab with a crawfish vendor, and the crawfish was so sad. The flavor wasn't great, and I have no idea why I had so many potatoes (which adds to the weight) while my friend had almost none. We also got some things from their happy hour menu--don't order the queso. It hardened almost immediately when it came to us. It's a cute spot, but I also don't recommend sitting outside in the summer. There were so many flies and it really worsened the entire experience.

First time visiting the location and it was a decent experience. The customer service was good and I like the atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of gumbo. The food was ok. Portions sizes are a bit on the small side.

Food was great but my waitress kept forgetting to come back to us. We ended up finishing our food by the time she came back with the condiments we asked for. It also took forever to get our bill as well.

Cozy little spot that's good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I met a friend here for lunch and I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer- which were very yummy!! I then ordered the shrimp and grits for my entree, which was also good! The tap water does taste rather dirty, so I opted for a bottled Mexican Coke instead. The prices are reasonable, the staff were attentive, and I'd love to come back here to try their breakfast.

Another Classic Austin Icon to visit if you have the chance! The service was outstanding and the place is just cool to look at. Definitely old school vibes for the diners of yesteryear. Wife went with Lost Bread (aka Nola French Toast) with a side of bacon....a bit crispy for us, seams fried instead of pan/stove cooked...but still tasty...I mean its bacon! This type of bread made for some delicious French Toast, and the syrup was legit. I went with the Gaston Scramble...loaded with meat and the potatoes we perfect....Not pictured is the biscuit we split (add a side of white gravy) for an amazing Biscuit and Gravy....We have eaten our fair share of B/G and this gravy stood out as unique and it really hit the spot.

I have traveled all over the country. I am originally from NJ and have eaten in thousands of places over a span of 30+ states. This place reminds me of my mother's cooking. It is sooooo good, must get the shrimp and cheesy grits and the bread putting is probably the best bread pudding I've ever had in my life.

We went to Sawyer & Co restaurant in Austin; it was not a good experience, we won't be back there due to deficient service. For more details We had a Sunday 11 am reservation but no tables were available. The place was crowded and seemed to have insufficient personnel. The host said they were cleaning up two tables inside but this turned out to not be accurate. Waited about 15 minutes and asked again about our reservation. Same answer "clearing some tables inside, should only be a few more minutes" More time went by and the host finally asked if we were ok to sit in the patio. (although Austin is known for hot weather, is was pretty chilly on Sunday.) We were seated outside on metal patio chairs that were cold. There was a large vertical propane heater next to the table; we asked the server if they could turn it on and were told there was no propane (inaccurate.) About 30 minutes later another group of folks sat at a table next to us and the customer knew how to turn on the hear and did so, voila. We mentioned to our server that the customer just turned on the heater and she said, oh, they must have just filled it with propane (inaccurate); nope, no one filled it with propane. It took 20 minutes to bring a coke to the table and our food was almost all gone by then. Unclear if management told server to leave propane heater off or if this was the server's idea. 20 minutes to get a coke to the table, the excuse was that glasses were not available and being washed. By the way it's not a cheap place. Food was ok; service was not good enough.

Excellent service from the employees, I only have constructive criticism about the Jorge's Benedic that I ordered…. They must take care of the cooking time since the yolk was too cooked. As for the rest, everything is very good.

You know a place is good when you daydream of it weeks later. #1 was the pecan cold brew espresso martini- yum yum YUM! Delicately balanced and just a little extra flavor kick compared to your ave espresso martinis. Best part is you can have one for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! #2 was the cute retro vibe, enjoyed the patio on an April Sunday morning with a group of friends. #3 was my breakfast veggie hash. The veggies were so fresh & crisp & well seasoned. Good portion for the price. #4 the cheesy grits!! To be honest I've been daydreaming of those too! Just order them- u'll thank me later! Took a long time to get our table, but we were a party of 5 on the Sunday of the eclipse, so that's understandable. I'd just suggest going early or not when ur super hungry!
