They have the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had!! And it comes with a side of delicious, crispy vegan tempura.

Decent, relatively straightforward ramen and apps, relying more on freshness and nuance than heavy flavors or huge servings. Broth wasn't as savory or thick as I'd hoped, but added cashews we're a treat. Professional and quiet. Can develop a bit of a line, but a pleasant date.

I had the black ramen and it was tasty. It definitely had the black roasted garlic taste that I would expect for this type of broth. The pork chasu was thinly sliced and was good, it just was not what I expected when it comes to chasu. I'm expecting the rolled, tender, and charred type of chasu. Regardless it was good and is really it to be 3rd or 4th in my list of ramen spots in the Austin area. Give this a try if you're in the area and wanting flavorful broth from ramen.

We love this place! BEST ramen in Austin. We always order the spicy paitan and the wings. We’ve seen a lot of changes with staffing over the last few years(which happens) but their quality still holds. We always enjoy ourselves.

one of the worst ramen I've had.. take a look at the picture of the signature paitan and you decide.. we waited 20 min to get seated and 20 min after we placed our order to get it.. I omitted argula and added menma (bamboo shoots -$ 1.5)way too salty, very chicken tasting broth.. noodles were the cheap store bought kind and was under cooked. included raw onions?! overly peppered bamboo shoots. marinade on the egg was not good. the 'chashu' was thinly sliced pork that was nothing like chashu...total for $35 for 2 paitans -- save your time and money. go somewhere else for a nice lunch date and skip this place :)

The food and the service were amazing! However, the acoustics suck and it can be hard to hear the other people at your table.

They can make your bowl gluten free but there are several tasty items that you can't add to your bowl, notably the ajitama have gluten. Sadness! But their food is good.

Steamies!Had planned to get some Korean fried chicken but the wait was too long decided to take a chance on Sazan.Started with some steamiest, aka pork pan fried dumplings. These turned out to be the stars of the meal. The meat had a great flavor, they were the right temperature, I like my food on the hotter side, and fried just right. I like the thinner dumpling noodle, this one was a bit thicker, but not too thick. Also had some of the wings. Again well prepared, hot, dry, but I wasn't a fan of the spices, a bit salty reminded me of Cajun spice. We had the ramen, I went with the ultimate. The primary ingredient, the broth, was a chicken and pork based paitan. I prefer the beef based broth, but they don't offer it here. The broth was rich, creamy, and hot with a strong chicken flavor, it was good. I added pork, there was a pretty good amount, it was lean and fairly good. I like a fattier marbled cut of meat for added flavor. The ramen was a bit firm, thick, and not very generous. The half egg was good, properly prepared. There weren't many veggies, looks like they want you to add them in as extras, I just went with the basic meal as these extras would quickly add up. All in all a good bowl of Ramen.Atmosphere was nice, somewhere between Mom and Pop type to formal sit down. They had soft lighting and dark curtains. It was a mixed bag with the service. We had 3 different waiters, first 2 being friendly and helpful, but the last was a bit pushy helping us along to leave. Here is your check...Let me take your dishes. Not sure why given the restaurant wasn't even busy.

The store is quite beautiful and has a great atmosphere, but the music is sometimes too loud, making it difficult to chat. The ramen is not bad, the soup is not too salty, but the taste is still a bit dull, and the meat is very tender.Yuzu magrita is also very good. The rim of the cup is dipped in shichimi powder instead of salt. It’s quite creative, but it’s not recommended for people who are afraid of spicy food. Haha

Bright spacious restaurant. The ma-yu black ramen was delicious! Our table ordered Lucy’s Love Potions all around. Great spot!Vegetarian options: Vegan bowl option and you can add/remove items as desired.Parking: Parking lot gets very busy. We had to do a few laps and ended up parking by Starbucks.

I had vegan ramen at Sazan today. The atmosphere is very nice and the servers were friendly. And the ramen noodle, broth and veggies tempura were all delicious. Why am I giving one star for service? When the server brought the ramen, her thumb was inside the bowl and when she went to put it down, her thumb dipped into the broth! For me, this is the deal killer... I coul not enjoy my ramen anymore. Please train your servers not to do this.

Cute ramen spot! Service was kind, patient, and helpful. The interior aesthetic was clean and very appealing. As an appetizer we ordered the waffles fries which were absolutely bomb. They were fresh, hot, and the aioli really complemented them! The ramen, in my opinion, is untraditional in some ways to Japanese ramen. To me, that’s fine and makes the experience unique! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was creamy as well as tasty. The soft boiled soy sauced egg also brought it all together. However, the pork chashu was slightly off putting to me. It really reminded me like a slice of deli meat. It didn’t taste bad, but it felt like I was eating a slice of turkey meat. I got an appetizer (unfortunately not pictured) which was a rice bowl with chashu. It came with the same piece of deli-like meat and the ratio was off in my opinion. There was a whole bunch of rice with what seemed like a singular slice of the chashu. I just felt like it wasn’t worth the almost $7. Other than that, the experience was nice and I didn’t walk away unhappy for sure. I just probably wouldn’t get the chashu rice dish again.
