This was once our home away from home. We’ve moved farther away, so it’s hard to get there as often. But we still love it when we can. Owners Christina and Edgar are amazing. The staff are also fabulous. The regular crowed is just great people. The drinks are great. The food is great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some parking around back. It’s got it all.

If you are reading this, I sincerely hope that you never go to School House Pub. They treated my wife and me terribly. We got married in April and were supposed to host our Friday welcome drinks here. We reached out to them in September of last year and ended up booking the place in December. We signed a credit card authorization form with all the details. Everything was set for months. Four weeks before the wedding, we reach out to them to them to check in. They told us that in order to proceed with our event, they would have to charge us TWICE the amount that we had agreed upon. We tried to reason with them and find a middle ground to no avail. We had already invited everyone in our wedding to join us at the School House Pub! Three weeks before the wedding they fully canceled on us. Not only was it rude but extremely unprofessional. When were they going to tell us they wanted to charge us double the price?? When we showed up for our event? Fortunately we found a better place to host our drinks very last minute.Needless to say that we will never be returning to the School House Pub and hope that neither do you.

Great happy hour deals on Sunday with a banging $7 fish'n'chips. The cheese board was just okay. The cocktails were all amazing. The pretzel, I liked, but was extremely doughy/pretty undercooked. I was into it but my pals were not

With a friendly staff and a good playlist, this pub made me feel right at home. The Nashville hot tenders they had on special were amazing.

This is the worst bar I have ever been to . The staff and management is unbelievably rude. A friend planned to have an event here, and they canceled on him last minute. everything about this place is lame and you should never think about going here.

Great place to hang out and have some tasty snacks. Montreal fries were delicious and disappeared quick! I loved the cheese and meat board, very unique! Pop corn was fantastic and the pretzel was perfect with their delicious homemade mustard!!! The smokey rye specialty drink was superb especially with the garnish ❤️Parking: Lots of spots but may have to walk some

Recommended dishes: Fish N' Chips, Popcorn, Pretzels, Montreal Fries, Garlic Fries

Female server had refused to accept valid Texas driver's license. Exhibited condescending tone throughout the encounter due to confusion over a vertical id. Because she was seemingly unable to read a vertical id, she outright refused our party service and furthermore refused to acknowledge communication from DPS proving my age. Never before in Austin have I felt more disrespected by a business. I will never again consider coming back to Schoolhouse Pub.

Walked by here on Valentine's Day and had to come in after we saw the sign on the door. They were doing the cutest, low key v-day event ever. They had themed cocktails and a food special but everything else was the normal price plus a chocolate fountain, decorations, and romcoms playing. I seriously could not have been happier to avoid the expensive chaos of Valentine's Day and come to a comfy spot with nice staff and solid drinks and food. Thank you all so much for making our day!
