I'm not sure why it is listed temporarily closed at the moment but this restaurant is very much open. It appears to be one of the very few places in the domain serving breakfast at the moment but I'm not mad about it.I've had dreams about the hash brown cakes. I should have pushed my luck and asked for the recipe because they are that good. The breakfast positions are filling so don't over order. What I enjoyed most about this breakfast is that everything was seasoned to perfection. I didn't have to add extra salt or pepper. The food is fresh. Social distancing measures were in place which is a plus to those leery of venturing out at the moment. Hotels get a bad wrap for food prices. I highly recommend this place being reasonably affordable and filling. You should come here even if you don't stay at the hotel. Park in the Nordstrom parking garage for free. It's not a long walk to a memorable breakfast experience.

Came here in May during COVID and sat on the patio. It was a late lunch/early dinner so we ordered the Black and Bleu Pizza and Black Truffle Pomme Frites. Both were absolutely delicious and I totally recommend. Service was nothing exceptional, we had to flag the waitress down for utensils. 5 stars for the meal!

I used to work downtown and passed by Second Kitchen so many times going to/from work yet it took time before I actually stopped in.Came to Second Kitchen on a Sunday with friends for lunch. The food was great. So was the atmosphere and the service. They also have tasty vegetarian options for the friends in the group that are vegetarian. Their cocktails were good also.I wish I had stopped into this restaurant sooner. I'll definitely be back tho.

This place had been on my list for quite some time, especially considering it was attached to one of the most famous condos in Austin. We finally made it out here on a Saturday evening before walking Congress Ave. I was able to get reservations day of which was pretty sweet considering how packed everything has been since stay at home orders eased. For a Saturday night this place wasn’t as crowded as I expected. The waitress was super cool and very conversational which is something I really value. The interior was designed pretty cool and the building was nice and cool (hot in summer so important to note). It took a while for our food to come out, but enjoyed our time waiting. My girlfriend and I split two different pizzas. A margherita and a vegetable one. I tend to love pesto, but it seemed like the vegetable one had a little too much and fell in comparison to the other. I was filled up pretty well at end of the meal and glad we came.

Came here around 9:15pm on a Saturday night for a late dinner on their patio. The dining area outside was very spacious as furniture was removed and spread out to add ample social distancing. There were at least 5 or 6 empty tables outside and plenty of tables inside. Not a single person was waiting inside or out. My expectation was that there would be zero/minimal wait.I spoke with the host to get seated outside. He said "it is going to be about a 45 minute wait and we close at 10pm so that would only give you a few minutes to eat." I don't think he could have deterred us any more. My boyfriend was looking at me like "why are you trying to still get added to the waitlist here." I think in my mind (and perhaps previous restaurant work experience) I was so sure that there was no way it would take 45 minutes to be seated. 9:16pm: we were added to the waitlist. We honestly just planned to eat at our hotel restaurant instead and started walking in that direction. 9:19pm: I get a text that the table is ready. 3 minutes! Why did the host want to deter us from even being added to the "waitlist" so badly? If I wasn't so insistent on getting added regardless we would have been deterred strictly off of a fake "wait time." We reluctantly gave the place a chance. Otherwise it was a positive experience, but management should know about that incident.Sarah, our server last night and was kind and attentive. We both ordered the Congress Burger which was very good. Our sides were fries and salad. It should be noted that they only have balsamic for the salad. They do not serve ranch at all--for all the ranch lovers out there. The actual dining experience was pleasant and we enjoyed our food and would likely return.

Decided to give it a try since there was happy hour. Our server was super friendly! Unfortunately the food and drinks were terrible. I ordered the classic margarita and it tasted like super cheap alcohol.. but what made it worse was the margarita didn't even taste like cheap tequila. I didn't know if it was vodka or what?! The salmon ceviche had no flavor. The only good thing about it was the salmon quality. I'm not sure I would recommend or go back.

We were in Austin this past weekend, walked by and saw they were open. We ordered the Ponodoro pizza and added pepperoni to share. It was amazing. The food was very very fresh. We ended ordering another one. The wait staff and host were very friendly and fun. Definitely we will go back.

I do not remember what I ordered when I came here. But I do remember that everything was delicious, and that I spent the rest in my trip in Austin trying to suggest a return to this place without being pushy and seeming like a complete fata$$... which to be honest is all this place brings out of me. Hope to be back soon

Great little brunch option on the cheaper side. A little less "trendy" than some of the other places we've visited in the area. But was able to walk in on a Sunday at 1pm with no wait. The place was about half full. Service was good and friendly. Mimosas were $3 and bloody Mary's $7!!! Me and my friend both got the egg sandwich club which was sooo filling (we ran 8 miles that morning so we were HUNGRY). Subbed in truffle fries for the chips..best decision I made all day!
