I was in town visiting and friend and we decided to check out Skinny’s. At first, the atmosphere was greatest , however the guy working was incredibly rude to us and acted as if he couldn’t care less we were guests there. It put such a damper on our meal together, so I’m not sure I’d recommend this place.

Well I was here a few days ago, last Saturday, to watch an MMA fight. The place was cool, clean. The back patio area was big and had a projector out there too. I'm only writing this review because I was just checking over my bank account and see a charge from them, but when I went up to the bar to order my drink the bartender told me my card was declined so I ended up paying her in cash. So not only was I charged $10 on my card I was told declined, but I paid $10 in cash plus $2 for a tip too. $22 is little much for a short ranch water, in my opinion. That's just sketchy to me, I will definitely call during business hours and hopefully that will get easily resolved. I'm a bartender and server as well, I know these things can happen accidentally sometimes, but I know people can do this purposefully too and it's just good to be aware of.

Decent vibe in a sub ghetto neighborhood. The smash burger is tops but I’d never pay $14 for it. Not sure how you’re gonna charge $9 for a local beer on tap but that’s a deal breaker , buddy. The food trailer guys have the slacker, broke attitude. Might wanna lower your prices if that’s the scene you’re

Food was surprisingly cold for how long it took to get it. Photo is supposed to be a double order of mini corn dogs. Can’t imagine how small a single order would be. Got a bucket of beer. First one was warm. Glad the rest were in ice.Small indoor space with a really long line for the bar. Not their fault but everyone one that passé by our table put their hand on it as they passed. So gross to me. Don’t touch my table.The tv at the table was really far behind the bigger screens which always drives me nuts.Fun atmosphere but definitely not my favorite place.Side note- I did not go outside at all. Seems like that might be the better option but it’s a chilly day.

Summer absolutely rocked when we visited Skinny's last week. She knew her drinks and showcased amazing service. I highly recommend this bar for anyone on the East Side.

One of my favorite bars on the east side that truly transports you back to your grandmas house in the 70’s with the interior decor. Amazing cocktails, amazing food, and such a large patio that’s great for watching sports and hanging with a large group of friends. Easily THE BEST happy hour in Austin, can’t beat $3 wells.

Order two simple drinks, common drinks. The male bartender needed more experience. I took them back after two sips. The female bartender was excellent. I tip her pretty goodThe lines can be long at the bar when trying to order. Food from the food truck was excellent. Again, the male cook social skills could improve. The female cook got some extra tips from me because her social skills and food her was good. She went of her way to help the people with me. The atmosphere is great for sports.

It's a cool spot. We went there to watch Sunday football. There was only one bartender for the whole place, he was having a hard time keeping up. Every one hanging out was nice and they allow dogs. I'll go back there next time I'm in Austin.

What a great space! This bar is such a cute vibe, you have the option of indoor where each booth has a TV and a large one for the whole space to watch sports. There is also a large outdoor patio space with a very large screen. The food truck has tasty bar food that is affordable!
