I've been to this location a few times.The other night we went through and the lady who handed us the drinks was somewhat rude.Yesterday we went through and the matcha latte my daughter got was sour.I don't know if something may have been put in the drink, or if the milk was expired, or if they used whatever blending container on something sour prior to making the latte and didn't wash it properly. Either way, it was an almost $7 drink that was not able to be consumed. We didn't realize until it was too late to go back.Also each person appears to make drinks differently rather than going by any type of standard. And the differences are enough that there REALLY should be a way to put some notes on each drink, or the baristas should be taught to think a little more critically.For example, if someone has asked for more scoops of pumps of something, it's probably based on someone else putting in smaller scoops or pumps, so adding not just the extra scoops or pumps, but making them heaping scoops or big pumps is going to be overkill.

Store was super busy this afternoon, stood and waited for my dash order as in shop was flying out.... Proceeded to walk to the front counter to ask the other lady for help(no one at register) she proceeded to tell me to go back where I just was and I'll be helped... as a former manager of starbucks at AUS this customer service was very rude.

I've been struggling to find a coffee shop I can sit and do some work and read in south Austin. This Starbucks honestly exceeded my expectations.There's a nice spot tucked away upstairs where you can read and enjoy your coffee. My go to is just the nitro cold brew.. it's fast and smooth. Order ahead online if you don't want to wait as they are quite busy at all times.

I get hired as a "mystery diner" at multiple different types of establishments. I haven't been hired here but it was a time I wish I had. This is why I felt the need to write a review so the company and future customers will know my experience.Alec was my server and he gets 5 stars across the board.While ordering I changed my order multiple times (standard test) and he remained patient, helpful, genuinely friendly and didn't rush me. He offered things tailored to me as an individual without over selling me. All around Impeccable customer service skills.He double checked my order before giving it to me bc it was a large order.Lastly, when I gave him my card to pay he handed me the card reader and as a bonus looked away (lol) to let me choose if I wanted to tip or not. MANY fast food restaurants that DON'T do this (CUSTOMER BEWARE). I run across to many establishments who illegally enter in an amount, unbeknownst to the customer, and keep the cash or they ask the customer to enter it in themselves which also shouldn't be done. When I complimented Alec on doing this, he was shocked to hear that many establishments don't do this and asked if I had experienced that there, with intent to report it if I had. Check plus!Alec should be training other staff and honestly should be managing the place!? Great job to Alec and thanks largely to him this location would pass on multiple levels!

This is my go to Starbucks. Dependable and consistent - however, I’d like to mention that one of the baristas, Dara, is incredibly rude. She does not smile or greet customers when working the register. There was a small mix up with our drink and she rudely poured the incorrect beverage down the drain and did not apologize. She yells at coworkers and seems to always be in a bad mood when I visit this location. I don’t understand why you would work in food service if you seem perpetually annoyed by people.Shoutout to Maja who always has a smile on her face and gives off a warm, happy vibe.

Possibly the worst Chai Tea Latte I ever had. I've never poured out a Starbucks after 1 sip until today. Not sure if it was a new person who didn't know what they are doing, but this store was super busy, about 10 minutes behind their posted ready time, and the result was not worth drinking.

Expect 25-30 minutes wait time for a simple drink. One (sometimes even 2) drinks will be ready (out of 4 items per the order). Store manager stated that will make refund "directly to the app". As a matter of fact - there was no refund. This experience actually is not a one time, but rather very consistent with this Starbucks location.
