First off, summer moon has tons of options and great coffee. Their deep steep cold brew is one of my favs in Austin. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of my experience the last two times I've gone. I always order the exact same thing, a regular 16oz deep steel cold brew black. Well, a couple weeks ago I guess the lady misunderstood me and gave me some type of fall cold brew, no big deal, I just tried something new. Well today when I went, I ordered a deep steep cold brew with lavender. It should've been $4.60. Well it rang up $6.22. I just thought they raised their prices like everything else, but no. Instead they rang up some latte ( I'm lactose intolerant) and gave that to me. I wasn't going to say anything, but I wanted my reg cold brew. I went back and let them know and they just took the other drink, gave me a small cold brew and didn't make up the cost. I figured they would at least give me the larger size that equals the price of the latte, but they didn't. At this point the line was so long I just gave up. I know it's only $1.50, but it's the point that times are hard and I already shouldn't be spending the money on coffee, so when I'm throwing extra money at this company bc of their mistakes, it's frustrating. I guess I need to start being Karen like. Idk if I will try this location again or not, but I will update if I do.
The most awesome cafe' I have ever had maybe short of some kona beans hand-delivered via the Aloha state. The "Inferno" dark roast is 'The Bomb' but "Velvet" is as smooth and mellow as it's name implies..., Kudos to SM for recent beautification w mural/ sun-screens and especially the wrap-around bench under the modest but stout Burr Oak. Love ya all!Wheelchair accessibility: Summermoon (mobile moon) @ Mencheca could improve ADA access a bit, they DEF need a ramp up to their trailer 4 sure (not cool! and current narrow steps suck anyway) but intimacy of business is such I am sure any different need would be addressed promptly with a smile. Heads-up = via chair or any wheels entire parking lot on N side of Coffee Trailer is curbed, BUT directly East of Trailer toward Burr Oak is a fair wide rollable gap in the curb AKA = handicapped parking = directly adjacent to Coffee Trailer.

Summer Moon is my FAVORITE coffee shop in Austin and probably of all time - the mobile moon location however is one to skip. We ordered cold brews and were given iced Americanos without any warning which was super disappointed. I’d go to the South 1st location if you’re thinking of going to this one!
