Limited seating, but definitely worth the wait. Mom and pop feel, homemade dishes. Great service, prompt and courteous.

I just ate here for the first time. Having grown up in south Texas, it can be hard to find good Mexican food in an environment that reminds me of home. Not only was the food absolutely incredible and fresh (literally everything was still steaming hot) but the gentleman who I assume is the owner was very kind and approachable. I will be back again and again. I had the huevos rancheros plate with sausage snd I can’t wait to try more items. Thank you guys for being open so early and providing such a delicious meal, I am impressed and thankful.

Tacos al pastor taste more like longaniza than al pastor, the meat was little tough from being grilled so much. I definitely wouldn't eat them again. The fajita ones were also not good.Limonada was so so.

I got blood drawn, and was feeling woozy, and what better place to turn that around than a true, local, nearby hole-in-the-wall tex-mex cafe? The establishment is located between a service road, a local road connecting to a highway and a highway - so parking and locating it can be difficult. There is a drive-thru with no menu or speaker, so one would have to lean in and yell into the working kitchen. The ordering counter is immediately to one's right as they enter, and someone smiling and helpful assisted selecting my breakfast through the lightheadedness, and I sat in the back facing a painting the seventies would have rejected.Breakfast tacos and a barbacoa taco soon arrived...and they were pretty good. The bacon resembled more jerky than anything else, but the barbacoa was excellent. My three tacos cost me under $15, and I left pleased.I would definitely recommend if one is in the area - particularly if they recently had their blood drawn.Vegetarian options: The tortillas are "vegetarian" I guess...Dietary restrictions: Everything is fried, fat and served in carbohydratesParking: Kind of tricky because it is between three busy roadsKid-friendliness: Not rwallyWheelchair accessibility: Roll in like a jar of salsa!
