The vibe is cute. Great place to take some cute photos. Food was good and priced at a great value. Portion sizes are big and shareable. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the music is way too loud.....like club atmosphere loud which is bothersome for dining. Also AC was not working in this place!! The fans didn't even work. You can't have a restaurant in Texas and not have AC in the summer!!! The place was cute but kinda had a cheapy vibe. Maybe try visiting in the winter lol

I've always loved the food, drinks and vibes here! It's Instagram worthy for the pictures and overall a good time and fair priced. I've been here quite a few times and it feels like the service gets worse and worse. The initial greeting is great, but it feels like when you come in a group, they don't really check on you at all, like everything takes soo long to get or even to get someone's attention. I ordered a flight of margaritas by the time I got it they were all melted. They automatically add a 20% tab to your ticket, which I wouldn't mind if we had good service, but a $35 tip for a service that wasn't that great seems a bit much.

Food was okay, service was slow, mostly go for the gram. Parking is easy and it's opened on the later side.

The food is meh. Nothing really special and sometimes way too greasy. The drinks and service on the other hand are amazing. Totally recommend for happy hour or drinks just because

The ambience was absolutely aesthetically pleasing! Pink galore ! The service was good but I feel like it could've been better. The server was a bit behind and not too on top of our refills etc but she was still nice. The food was good but not that authentic Mexican flavor I was looking for. Still a great place to hang out with your friends !

If you are in Austin, Texas I feel like this is such a cute place to stop. We had drinks here which hit you hard, but they were good and the queso was so good as well! They are served with pink chips!!! Service wasn't that great considering that it was crazy busy but we had to find out waiter twice but she didn't come around much. Other than that I loved this place, my friends loved this place and cute pictures can be taken here! We took so many selfies!!

Situated across from the Domain lies a little hidden gem dedicated to females, pink and Latino food. Taquero Mucho is located in a very safe part of town with plenty of parking and easily accessible. I would like to note that their menu is limited during brunch times so please plan accordingly. Finally, be forewarned, the outside looks relatively mundane as you'll be tempted to do a double check on google maps as there isn't much outside which hints at the shenanigans inside. Walking in is a blast of pink; the flowers, floor, ceiling, accents, chairs you name it all pink. I must admit it's a very cool concept and they run with it in spades. I couldn't help myself thinking that it's all a gimmick and the food will suffer for the vanity of atmosphere. Before proceeding on I'm happy to say nothing is further from that concern. The bar has a funky vibe to it with white counter tops and a pink running light underneath giving it a glow affect. The DJ booth is cleverly designed to look like a Barbie package complete with nostalgic writing across the front. It's a site to be sure but alas the food and drinks generally make or break the experience so let's get into the co-star of this show. In keeping with the whimsical nature of the restaurant the drinks are presented in a creative manner meant to be eye candy as well as lighten the spirits. The Malibu Barbie is a fun drink, served in a strawberry vessel but extremely sweet. One can pick up the strawberries but the sugar is extremely forward. The house 'rita was decent but a smidge on the tart side. My bourbon and diet coke were just as it should be. Overall, the drinks aren't sophisticated but that's not their allure, rather they're fun and tasty. As for the food I was presently surprised as it was authentic and extremely well excuted. I started with the Salsa Sampler with fun pink chips. The chips are fresh but the salsa's are interesting offering enough for two people to get a few bites in of each. The salsa taquera was HOT but tasty. Honestly, I couldn't get but two bites in overall as it cleaned out the nasal cavity, (please note I can't take a lot of heat). The chipotle was a lower heat salsa with an easy earthy flavor. The tomatillo salsa was fresh with wonderful balance all the onions, jalapenos, tomatillo, lime and cilantro. Finally, the molcajete was charred and had a more "traditional" look and flavor to it. I also ordered the guacamole which was perfect. Chunky avocado sits on top a bed of lettuce with hints of lime topped with tomatoes, jalapenos and onions; all that creates a refreshing dish. For the main course I ordered two plates starting with the Elote. I was expecting street corn on a stick however this version was equally as effective and tasty. Huge shaved chunks of corn were in a bowl, gently mixed with cotija cheese, chili spice and lime along with other flavors like mayo and a red sauce. I highly advise trying this dish. Finally, I ended my escapade with birria tacos. I will add they said it's served with consume, but this is a misuse of the word, not that the "broth" is bad but it doesn't hold the delicacy of a laborious consume. That said it has a slightly spicy oil on top of a flavorful broth that the taco meat was cooked in. The meat is tender and flavorful stuffed inside tortillas that were soaked in the "consume;" crispy and soaked at the same time. The beans are ok with what I think were hotdogs and the rice was white yet perfectly cooked. The onions and cilantro add the wonderful earthiness to balance out the dish. Overall, an outstanding effort in all regards. My experience at Taquero Mucho was and adventure in feminine energy, pink, off the wall décor and great food. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly while being fast. Moreover, there are several areas to create photo memories, so be comb your hair before coming. I enjoyed the experience and I would love to come back and try some other drinks and food offerings. Two

Energetic vibe. We went on a Saturday and there was a DJ playing. There’s lots of staged areas for great photo opportunities. We started with the Choriqueso appetizer and Margarita Flights. The Choriqueso was ooey gooey cheesy and I highly recommend. The Margarita Flight consisted of well mixed margaritas: Mango, Strawberry, Grapefruit, and Passion Fruit. For dinner I had the Asada. The food came out hot a delicious. I will definitely be back. If you’re celebrating a birthday or anything else fun, you should give this place a try.

Just left this place for a Birthday Brunch for my son in law… first things first. If you want a beautiful scenery with high price mediocre food and less than average customer service then This is definitely your place. We showed up as a party of 3 adults 1 child and a toddler they have no children menu and will automatically charge you 20% gratuity if you spit your check by two they charge each check the 20% so that’s 40% in Gratuity.Next I step away from my plate only to come back to see it was gone. Even though we ask for to go containers. So basically, I paid full price for a meal only ate half of it, and the other half of my meal was thrown away, but we still charged full priceThis was my first and last time going there.Over priced lukewarm food is not how I entend to spend my hard earned money. Therefore Taquero Mucho is A taquero Not for me and my family.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. My boyfriend had ordered a double don julio neat. The server brought him one glass then the server comes back around to ask if he wanted another and he said yes. This time she brought 2 glasses and they run things kinda odd here so we assumed maybe they just split it between 2 glasses. Then the bill comes around and we see 4 charges of 18 dollars for Don Julio plus a 4.50 charge because it was double. So I told her that’s not correct he ordered 2 doubles and you mean to tell me they charge 81 dollars for 2 doubles of Don Julio they after she went to the manager once the second time she came back with the bartender and bartender said she only remembered pouring me 2 so apparently no one knew about the third shot so that’s weird but point is unless you wanna get over charged for shot plus eat some gimmicky food and tough chicken then don’t come here. Regardless of how much money you have 81 dollars for 2 doubles of Don Julio silver is insane.

It was very cute, the food was surprisingly good but not worth the price. I got the tacos dorados which is basically flautas & you only get 3. The drinks are pricey as well but most of them are strong and really good! Definitely more of an aesthetic place however the swing looking backdrop was very unsturdy and looked like it was gonna snap at any moment:
