This place deserves more than 5 stars! Amazing food and service. You have to try the wings and Tom Kha Soup, you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is also chill, intimate and relaxing.

This place is awesome. Yellow curry with chicken is prolly the best food I have had since living in Texas. Service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. Greta menu and affordable. This place is very addicting!! And you get a lot of food!

Went to Thai Lada based upon a friend's recommendation. Personally I didn't like the curry there at all. I would anyday prefer to go to some of the other Thai places in vicinity.

Thai Lada is amazing, and worth the drive. The food is amazing, also they make the food to your liking. The outdoor patio is very peaceful and romantic. Pets are allowed, and staff is very friendly. I am a celiac and also allergic to not only gluten but other ingredients. I have never been contaminated and they make sure to keep me safe. Thank you Thai Lada!

My recent delivery experience with Thai Lada Restaurant was thoroughly disappointing. Despite the convenience of having the food brought to my doorstep, the quality of the meal fell far short of expectations. The portion sizes were incredibly small considering the prices charged, leaving me feeling cheated and hungry. To add insult to injury, the basil fried rice with meat I ordered was accompanied by Lada's dumplings, but both dishes were lackluster. The meat in the fried rice was undercooked, posing a potential health hazard, and the dumplings were bland and unremarkable. Given the unappetizing food quality, inadequate portion sizes, and the premium prices charged for delivery, I cannot recommend Thai Lada Restaurant as a satisfactory option for anyone seeking a fulfilling dining experience from the comfort of their own home

Absolutely best thai food in Austin! I've tried many other places around town but this one just does it for me! Khao mun gai, massaman curry, Tom yum soup, crab rangoons... Yes please!!! The lunch specials are definitely worth dining in for.

We pass this place many times and finally got a chance to try it. I am so glad we did. The menu was so hard to choose from but I decided to try the basics to see if they did it well. Cry Baby Cry wings were crispy and had the right amount of heat. It was not salty and it came with a sweet sauce. I really liked the Tom Yum Soup. Most restaurants have it either too sour or watery but Thai Lada's tom yum had the right sourness. The vegetables were unexpected - red bell pepper, carrots, cabbage, all al dente and not mushy. I have to go back for more. I have tried papaya salad from different Thai restaurants and was usually disappointed. Thai Lada's papaya salad was very well balanced. The papaya was crunchy and fresh tasting. Finally we tried the chicken rice. There was so much chicken and the rice was so flavorful. The ginger sauce that came with it was so good ins pite of it being a bit sweet. I could drink the ginger sauce. My daughter and I asked for level 3 spice and it was not spicey so will do level 4 next time. I also noticed the table next to us had a condiment container that had chilies so will ask for that too. As for the service, everyone was so attentive making sure all was good and we had what we needed. Ambience-wise, it is peaceful if you face the window since they have plants outside. It was also not loud like other restaurants so that you can enjoy your meal and chat with your daughter. Overall, I was really pleasant with the food, service, and ambience. I want to go back and try other dishes but want more tom yum too.

Incredible food, amazing service and great portions. Easily one of my favorite weekly restaurants.

The food quality and taste is lower than what you can buy from Costco freeze area but with double price. It becomes ridiculous it can still survive when miles away has "real" authentic Thai food restaurant and cheaper price.

We've been trying all of Thai restaurants near us in hopes of finding that one special go-to. This is it! Everything we ordered was delicious and had the subtle, complex flavors that only really authentic Thai food can deliver. The Tom Kha had a lovely balance between the galangal and lemon flavors. The Pad Thai was light and tasty and the massaman curry and crab fried rice were solid choices. We'll definitely be coming back :-)

Great Thai food. We can as a family of four wanting some Thai curry and tomyum. Service was fast and friendly. And the food was great. Next time we will try it one step more spicy. Also very affordable and reasonably
