The Empanadas were so good I regret not ordering more. They were crispy, cheesy and very flavourful. I would give them a higher rating if I could. The owner was very friendly and patient while taking my order (I'm pretty clumsy at ordering food). I would definitely go here again.Vegetarian options: There is one vegetarian Empanada option, namely the ratatouille Empanadas. They also sell fruit juices and plantains.Wheelchair accessibility: Highly wheelchair accessible. They don't have a counter for taking orders, they just take it from the door so, it'll be easy to place an order.
Best Empanada of my LIFE. Chicken was nicely shredded, great flavor, and really good sauces to go with it. The owner was so nice and delivered it directly to me. Will be going back !
Nice little trailer in the food truck court. The menu was explained very well. And the food was awesome. The tostones were my favorite. The garlic with the sauce added was a great flavor combo.

My favorite empanadas in Austin! The vibes are amazing with music always going and food that is always amazing. My only suggestion is that they add online ordering so we can order more often :)
We grabbed some empanadas and tostones as we were leaving Austin to head back home. Got one each of the chicken, beef, and ratatouille, and none of them disappointed! Tostones were also delicious - crisp and yummy, and the sautéed garlic/herb/salt on top complemented the plantain really well. Pineapple juice also delish! We will be back for sure.

I ordered the tostones, and they were heavenly! The tostones were not dry, they were perfect! The aroma of garlic was delightful. Every bite was savored. You will want to make your way to try The Doughminican, you will not be disappointed.

The owners are fantastic. They remember us every time we visit which is like maybe once every other month. The space they are in now is 100% better than where they were. The food is made to order which means there is a bit of a wait BUT, it is well worth it! I am a beef over chicken person but I choose chicken over beef at this place. The personal touch he adds to the empanadas with his business name is also a cute/nice touch. Don't skip out on the tostones. Thank me later! Be sure to get there early especially on the weekend.
