I live in MN and this is hands down the worst bbq I have ever eaten! Worst meal we had during our 8 day TX trip. The brisket requires a knife to cut, had a barely visible smoke ring, and no flavor.I was excited about the hatch chili Mac and cheese, unfortunately it is no longer carried. The employee working stated he couldn't even say how long its been off the menu. The website needs to be updated. The canned green beans had no flavor. The pinto beans also tasted like they were straight out of a can. Such a sad disappointment for bbq in Austin!Parking: small lot- nearly was hit

So if u want a classic small place to have lunch or a party this place has great bbq. The only comment I have is that the sauce is light. I like bold so I always have my own on board. A combination of theirs and mine was exquisite. If you're a bbq fine DO NOT MISS This place.

Ordered the brown bag special (regular chopped beef sandwich, chips, and drink). However, I got the potato/egg salad mixture instead of the chips with an additional $0.95 (I didn't read the fine print). The potato/egg salad mixture wasn't too bad, but for the life of me can't recall hard-boiled eggs being in potato salad. The chopped beef sandwich was very salty and I couldn't finish it all. I mean saltier than my daughter on a crazy day (that's pretty salty). The sweet tea was good.

The best BBQ in town! I had the turkey sandwich and it was so delicious and juicy! My boyfriend had the sliced beef plate. We shared 3 sides which included potato salad, pinto beans, and coleslaw! We told the gentlemen at the counter it was our first time and they let us taste the brisket, regular sausage, and jalapeno sausage! It was all incredible! We will definitely be back!

Chopped brisket sandwich was just ok. The pinto beans were inedible. The soda machine isn't working properly so it took several minutes to get a drink. The reason it got 3 stars and not two is because of the good customer service from "U". He was nice and kind and got right to the order as soon as he could. What threw me off the most was the sauce!! It was very bizarre. I have worked as a pitmaster and barbecue specialist for 20 odd years and I've never had one like that. It was almost flavorless. Not sweet, seemed like a corn starch slurry was used to hold it together. Not exactly what the deal was with that but it was so off I couldn't eat it. Probably won't come back.

So disappointed in this place. The brisket was a bit dry and sub par for this amazing bbq town. Same folks that own the delicious Taco Shack chain.

The best BBQ Turkey I have had in a long time. We ended up there by accident because we couldn't get a table at Picknic, best accidental restaurant find ever. Burned ends, turkey and delicious chicken. Great potato salad and good Cole slaw...the only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is the lack of AC, it was a bit warm in there and I definitely walked out smelling like a big moving slab of BBQ. I will go back soon.

The 'O' could very well stand for Original because this was probably the first BBQ joint I went to as a kid. Inside it has old school charm and decades of smoke adorning the walls and ceiling. It just screams, 'This is BBQ!"I had the half chicken and it was amazing, no sauce needed! The pinto beans are how beans should be. Tasty, bold and served hot! The Mac and cheese was just a bonus, just give me a vat of it I would be happy. What? They cater? Heck yeah!

Food was great, and the service was prompt and friendly. The only complaint I have is when you get an order to go, the cheap plastic flatware is so flimsy, it makes it extremely difficult to enjoy eating the delicious baked potatoes and amazing BBQ. Other than that, love this place.

Tried this for the first time the other day and enjoyed it. Deep smoke flavor in all the meats, excellent sides. Best of all was the service, which was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely return.

Very below average. I got the chopped beef sandwich which is advertised on their sign outside. Not good. A lot of black pepper and that’s it. It’s an overwhelming taste of black pepper. No bbq sauce flavor at all. Not good. The potato salad was very bland no taste at all. The cole slaw was decent. Do not recommend.
