The guy at the takeout counter was very helpful. He brought me two samples of the kale aid refresher juice and bright eyes to try before purchasing which I appreciate! I bought the kale aid with some orange juice for sweetness. I also ordered the smoked Gouda turkey burger which was delicious! This was better than most standard turkey burgers I’ve eaten. Flavorful and fulfilling. I also got the umami potatoes which were yum. I would order this lunch again. Parking can be tricky if you can’t find any on the street.

EDIT: Used to love this place but unfortunately ever since the new management things have gone downhill. We have tried to give them multiple second and third chances but were disappointed each time. The food consistently is not warm and they also are very frequently out of options, even the waiter said it was “embarrassing that they are always out of everything”. There’s also a very long wait to get your food for such a casual place and that should not be the case. You should not be waiting 20 to 30 minutes for dessert. Unfortunately after several attempts thinking things would get better, we will no longer return to True Food.Old review: 5 starsGreat healthy food options in a casual atmosphere. They have vegan options and tasty drinks. I trust that the food and service will be good each time!

I truly enjoy True Food, but this location in Austin has nothing great to offer. i would highly recommend any other location but the seaholm location. i just ordered take out and every thing was wrong in my order!not to mention this location has the worst service, poor management and the place always looks filthy. if i could leave negative star review i would.

Food was off the charts!Even better than I'd anticipated.Dr.Andrew Weil,who began TFK,is my guru of wellness,alongside Dr. Daniel Amen.It was truly a treat to eat here.The service was ok,our server didn't really check up on us much.Having 3 children who all did some serving as adults,I know what it's supposed to look like.This location is very busy,so one must show kindness and understanding,though.Living an hour south of here,definitely would like to come back and try many more items!
Service was fantastic, I love the artsy inside as well. It was a beautiful day so I decided to sit outside. The host and the server were very friendly and prompt.I got the Bright Eyes which was very refreshing and perked me right up. The Pang Curry however was very pungent. The veggies were undercooked, there was not enough rice and really, too much curry. I wss hoping for more solid food because at the end I was left with eating over flavored soup. New rule, don't get Thai food from a non-thai chain restaurant.I did also eat at the location in Phoenix anf remembered really liking the food.

As soon as I stepped in the floors where sticky and when going into the restroom the trashcan was overfill and pee all over the toilet floor with this are floor also being more sticky if this is how the restroom and floor are how is the kitchen where no customers see. Also when entering no one attendant to me so I left.

Their ceiling is falling down. Two wood panels are missing. Its easy to see. Hopefully they don't fall on you when you eating! Or maybe eat under them and if they fall you can threaten to sue and settle for at least a year in free meals? Either way, a nice establishment like this shouldn't give you the impression wood might rain on you. It obviously fell twice before. Hopefully not when they were open. Nice bathrooms but after I used them I got accused of smoking herb in them which I didnt do but I'm sure I smell like it i smoked beforehand but that was strange encounter. I smoke outdoors like normal people.

I went in for a coffee to go and it was cold, but I didn’t complain and still paid for it on an app I use. As I was walking outside a lady comes running out shouting for me and when I turned around she shouted I didn’t pay for my coffee and I shouted back that I paid for it on the app and she said she would double check and went back inside. Running after me for a cold coffee assuming I didn’t pay was unnecessary and embarrassing!

Came to this location for dinner our waiter Justin presented us with the happy hour menu and although they were out of a wine I wanted he made sure that we were accommodated for a different wine and sodas it on the happy hour price which I think it is really good though that he sold it to us really well. The food did take a while to come out to the table but during that time Justin was really punctual on letting us know where the food was at and why I was taking so long so I do applaud that though you have a really good server that knows how to communicate with his tables. Just want to say thank you for having us and we will be back shout out to Justin for being a really good server to us y'all should really ask for him

And the folks managing the kitchen don’t know what’s going on AND/OR don’t care either.ATMOSPHERE: Saw staff literally standing & eating at the bar while on duty, so it appeared. They stood and talked to me with food in their mouth when I asked a question, though other staff who appeared to be on the clock were just standing & crowding around.Yes, the staff at this location would rather chat among themselves than serve & do their jobs.Never returning here again, even if they pay me to eat.
