Decided to finally check this place out after multiple times of driving by and was pleasantly surprised! Such a hidden gem. Not many bars like this left in Austin. Cozy and no-frills dive bar. They have a large outdoor seating area with an outdoor stage and creek filled with fish and turtles that you can feed. The bartender, Julia, was very sweet and welcoming. Was told that they typically have live music every Wednesday and Saturday and open mic nights on Sundays. Will definitely be back to check that out!

Had a nice stop over at Twin Creeks just off FM 2469 in North Austin recently. They have an indoor bar with outdoor seating next to a small creek. Bring a slice of bread and you can feed the fish in the clear creek waters.Bartender was very friendly. Interesting mix of patrons from different walks of life, came in during the afternoon hour we were there, most just enjoying a beer in the great spring weather on the day.Just seemed like a really good, local watering hole in north Austin, a place worth checking out if spending a bit of time in the area.

Twin Creeks is an old-school roadside dive bar just off FM 2469 in North Austin. Opening hours are around 3pm to midnight each night. They have an indoor bar and outdoor seating next to a small creek with clear water and small fish. There is an indoor and outdoor stage and pool table as well. Bartender was very friendly when we popped in for a round of beers. Interesting mix of patrons came in during the afternoon hour we were there, most wanting to enjoy the great mid spring time weather outside. Just seemed like a really good, local watering hole in North Austin, a place I'd be glad to visit regularly if we lived in the area.

Old school Texas dive bar that is one of the very few remaining in Austin. Hidden gem.

This is an excellent little gem of a dive bar. Love the out door patio area. Fire pit, big stage, and a nice little creek to sit by. Sad thing is it's only beer, seltzers, etc. No Spirits.

Was coming back up from Austin and saw this rustic looking building with some fancy cars out front. Decided I needed to check it out. What a great spot! Immersed in nature, very reasonable drink prices, live music. My only complaint is that there was no place to park. I had to park on the edge of the road, which was freshly paved by the way, but I blocked in 2 cars. Had to make this visit quick. I did some exploring. Checked out the interior which was appropriately dark and eclectically decorated. Ventured outside and saw the stage. Plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas. There's a bucket on a pull string that crosses over the creek. I was curious so I asked what it was for. It's the conduit for drinks to get over to a table and chairs for people that live over there. How convenient is that! If you wanna relax with a drink in a nonjudgmental atmosphere, this is the place to do it.
