Just stopped in for a few drinks which were amazing. Atmosphere was a vibe with the old school TVs. Reminds me of your favorite neighborhood bar. Food looked amazing.

The Wifey and I enjoyed a weekday lunch and found the staff to be very attentive, a small menu with great choices, they had PIMMS (few do), and the food was cooked perfectly. You’ll enjoy Uptown. Don’t forget to walk around the neighborhood. Cheers!Parking: There is a pay lot right next door. Give yourself enough time to find parking… it’s Austin.

love this spot. i always end up taking people from out of town here. get the roast beef po boy, gumbo, or burger. the shrimp is just okay.

4th time here and it’s about the same experience every time. Food, drinks & ambiance are great! BUT service is just awful. Servers don’t seem to be either too busy or don’t care about the guests. I think more training would help. I’m not asking for fine dining service but for the price point, there’s no reason why the service can’t be improved.
