Sato san is a great sushi chef, who has a great passion for his art. I tried the 45 min omakase experience and it was great. He concisely explains every dish. The food is excellent and staff is friendly, definitely a must go spot for omakase in

Booked this over a month in advance and was very excited to go. Had to drive 25 min through rush hour traffic and arrived a few min early. When we checked in, they blankly told us that the class had been pushed back an hour to 7, without any prior notice whatsoever. We asked why we didn’t receive any kind of email update and were told there was a “computer error” and that’s about it. They said the class was usually at 6, so not sure why it got moved to 7 last min for just today, but unfortunately we couldn’t sit there for an hour waiting and left. Not a fan of this sort of business practice.

Uroko was a beautiful and delicious accident. We were next door at the bar and I was exploring as usual when I looked it up. I’ve been back ever since at least twice a month. Their rolls are generous. Delicious! If you’re a fan of delicious, generous sized hand rolls, definitely check them out! They also do omakase and classes. That’s next on my list! Can’t wait to enjoy omakase here!

One of my favorite lunch spots for their delicious hand rolls. Their omakase is also amazing. Compared to some other pricier spots in town, TONARI/Uroko offered a much broader variety of flavors and textures, all made richer by little bits of context and history shared by their gracious staff. It set a new bar for me.

Absolutely top notch omakase at Tonari here. Every single roll was tasty, balanced, creative, and different from the rest. The sake pairings were well thought out, and brought each bite to a new level. They care about their craft here, and it shows.

Uroko is an excellent, small Japanese restaurant if you're craving hand rolls. They serve all orders quickly, and I appreciated the quality of their fish. The hand rolls are fantastic, featuring a decent amount of fresh fish. We ordered Sake Toro, Hama Toro, and Blue Fin Tuna Taku. I highly recommend this place.

The omakase was incredible. My wife and I have been to Japan (it’s an amazing country) and this reminded me of it constantly - the food, atmosphere and the staff. I would 100% recommend it. What an experience!
