I just bought the strawberry cheesecake today! My family LOVED IT, the vegans and the non-vegans! My brother even loved it, and he’s the kind of dude that makes fun of and doesn’t like vegan food. Can’t wait to get cake for the next family bday! ☺️Dietary restrictions: They have gluten and soy free options!

WOW! I won a giftcard to Zucchini Kill Bakery and was delighted with my experience. The staff was so kind, and when I put in an online order they called me personally to let me know an item was out of stock and offered a replacement or a refund. In addition to great service, the food was amazing! I especially loved the lavender frosting and the rosemary chocolate chip cookies.I highly recommend paying them a visit!

5 stars for the fact that it's both a vegan and soy free bakery alone, it's hard to find the latter usually. They have some fun items too, the swiss roll was my favorite.

Everything is fantastic, but the Rosemary chocolate chip cookies are TO DIE FOR!!Dietary restrictions: The whole thing is both gluten free and vegan. There must be witchcraft involved, because I have never had a softer, more velvety cupcake with frosting that is like a cloud pillow and the flavors are simply perfect!

This review is long overdue. I’ve bought several sweet treats from here over the years. I love that they have many cupcake flavors, as well as rotating/seasonal flavors. I had the zucchini bread for the first time yesterday and it is now my favorite sweet bread. The cream coffins are also so good! Can’t wait to try my GF sliced bread.

Updated Review: It is a bit harder to locate this bakery since it is behind another establishment in a backyard. I pulled up to the crystal shop looking for Zucchini Kill and walked inside not knowing if I was at the right spot or not. The crystal shop was cool and had chill people working inside. They quickly knew by looking at me that I was looking for how to the bakery. I was directed to exit out the back door and was told to look for clues to find my ultimate destination.Upon walking inside, I was greeted with a glass case of sweets galore. I've ordered from here before but wanted to try the cookies and Swiss roll. The restaurant had punny names for most of the desserts to match the general name. They are different from other places since they mix other flavors to create a unique flavor profile. I used to order from here during the holidays when I was in the area. All the sweets are deliciously yummy. The staff is nice, but more reserved and give off this grunge punk vibe. I liked the selection, however, this is by far the most unaffordable bakery I've been to. The prices are a bit steep for the portion size of what you get. I'm all for supporting local vegan businesses, however, I don't frequent it as much because of that. You definitely gotta be a rich Austinite to continue to shop here.Old Review: I love this bakery, but it's very expensive. Sweets shouldn't be that pricey. I don't come here as often as I would like because of that. The rolls are delicious and I can eat that daily if sweets didn't make you fat. These are some talented people.

Unless you are actually allergic to gluten, dairy, soy and are vegan, it is not worth the money. If you’re just vegan, you can find much better cakes. Really bizarre textures on the cupcakes and frosting.
