It was eh. Only one Waitress with like 10 tables so I can understand she was doing her best. But she wasn't very friendly, but wasn't rude either. She never asked me if I wanted a refill, or anyone at the table. If we needed anything we had to ask. The soft drinks were brought to us in hot cans with ice. No fountain drinks and the cans weren't even chilled. Food was ok. Atmosphere was cute with all the Roosters but didn't seem very welcoming. I can't say it was bad, but I can say I've been to better places.

I’m so disappointed. The food has always been excellent there but today my takeout order of cfs, mashed potatoes and spinach just wasn’t. I’ve barely eaten any of it. I’ll definitely make a better choice next time!

Came in for breakfast, they sat us and that was the last time we spoke to anyone. No menus, no drink orders.. After waiting 20 minutes we walked out.

If you are looking for a great cafe CJ’s is the place! CJ herself has been in the restaurant industry forever and she puts out the best in classics like chicken fried steak, deep fried French toast and my personal favorite “Rae’s diet plate” as you see pictured here. It truly is where we locals go!! They just added Eggs Benedict to the menu.. I can’t wait to try that out!!Dietary restrictions: I have been trying to watch what I eat for a long while now and when I told CJ what I had been eating she started making me the “Rae’s plate. A grilled hamburger patty with grilled diced vegetables on top with a salad.You ask.. they accommodate.

Vidited for the first time today to get a sandwich for take away. LOVED the people, food and service. I chatted with staff while waiting and when I got back to work, they had given me a surprise in my lunch. It was a genuinely kind, sweet and needed gesture of community. They are much appreciated and we will definitely be visiting again.Vegetarian options: There are salads and some ootions for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: There are some healthier options on menu.Parking: Some parking on the hill, some in front of cafe. Might take a moment to find a spot on a busy morning.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options on menu, nice servers, not too posh.Wheelchair accessibility: Good amount of parking spaces right in front of cafe; well cared for sidewalks and parking lot, ample door width, good amount of spacing between tables inside cafe.Did not visit bathrooms though.

This is a great little hometown type restaurant. I tried the fried pork chop and onion rings and it was delicious. My husband ordered a chicken fry and it was good also. We will be back to try the breakfast. The wait staff was very friendly.

Probably a bad day to show up for breakfast (New Year's morning), but several places was closed. Seemed there were only 2 waitresses. First time it took longer to get our food than usual because we've been here before. I didn't get a refill on my coffee which was disappointing, BUT the food was good and the waitress was nice. We will be back again. We do understand when people are short staffed how crazy can be.
