Alesha and Kenzie were awesome made the best burgers I've ever had in a golf course. They were very friendly and made this the best experience of my golf experience at this course.

FIRST TIME VISIT!!!Here for a golf tournament and was hungry at 7am so I was very pleased to see the grill was already open for my business. Woo hoo! The place is warm and decorated for Christmas, equipped with tree and all! There are tables are chairs inside that seats a minimum of 34pp and 30pp outside. Lots of room if you need to add even more seating! We're excited to get golfing and the staff is ready to receive us, help us prepare and get us going for today's event. To get me "going", I need fuel and that means... In the restaurant area, I ordered "The Platter" which is your basic eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes and toast breakfast. The potatoes are tater tots and you get a choice of white or wheat for the toast. My breakfast was very nice. It was a rainy and cold day on the golf course so I came back inside for a break from the elements and decided to have another meal. Since it's 1pm, we'll call it lunch, but I was feeling like French toast. The girls behind the counter made it for me with a smile. In addition, when I asked the girl behind the counter if they had hot tea, she said no, but.... She likes to make herself a tea drink by warming up their ready made sweet tea and add cinnamon and vanilla creamer. I was sold! I drink my tea with sugar and half n half, anyway. I swear I was British in my past life! She whips one up for me and for free. What a sweetheart! I will def be back. Maybe for dinner. Hahahaha! Just kidding! We gotta head back to San Antonio tonight. If you golf here, make sure to stop in for a bite to eat. These workers will whip up some comfort food for ya!

It really is a hidden gem! Great golf course!! Friendly staff and everyone we've met have been awesome. Better then some more expensive golf courses.

So, I read many reviews about this course and noticed people rate this course because the cart's disabling near trees and the marshals following them. Well, I get tired of people golfing who think they can do whatever they want on the course and have no respect for other golfers, the course or the facilities equipment. I play 6 times per month and get tired of playing 5-6 hour rounds. This golf course is in excellent shape and the staff was kind and very helpful; amazing, low green fees for the shape of this course (which was excellent). If you're looking for a good pace for an excellent deal play this course. And of course if you're going out to party and not follow golf etiquette, go to Topgolf! Oh, by the way, the marshal's job is to keep pace of play in check and the carts shut off so you don't drive them into the water or woods! Will certainly play this course again many times.

Always, over the top staff, very professional and helpful. Love my hometown golf course! Ladies they respect us! Come play! The tournaments are perfectly managed!

Only golf course I have ever walked off after 3 holes. If you go into the rough or anywhere near a tree they completely disable the golf cart. At this point you have two choices to either push it back to the cart path or have someone from the clubhouse drive out and push it for you. This is a real shame since the course was good and they did at least refund my money. Of course the kids at the counter let me know that if I did not like it to definitely not play there again. If you would have been able to go in reverse that would have been good. Could not imagine a 70 year old man or woman pushing a dead golf cart back to the path.

First time I have ever walked off a golf course after only playing 3 holes. The course looked very nice, but as soon as you go off the cart path into the rough you get a small warning then the golf cart completely shuts down. Only way is for you to get out and push the cart back towards the path or wait for someone to come all the way from the club house to push it for you while you are holding up anyone in your group or any groups behind you. If it enabled you to at least go into reverse to go back then that would have been fine, but to completely go limp and useless? I could understand if I was driving it in a creek or on the green, but to do this in the rough when you are looking for a ball no way. After I finished the 3rd hole I asked for my money back. I received my money which was a big bonus, but also got to hear the comments like, "Well that will free up some space on the course now." Also the GPS on the cart did not work so I had no way of knowing how far from the hole I was at. Until the feature that completely disables the cart useless if you get a little into the rough is gone I cannot see myself ever returning. Never have I ever played a course where that was a feature and if I would have known I never would have played.

Nice place. wish there was a beer cart though

Interesting "Hill Country" style course. A little remote from Fort Worth/Metroplex, but intriguing. Condition is generally good, but terrain can be brutal with a lot of elevation changes, blind shots and wind issues on the hilltop fairways. Course also looks, feels and plays longer than the scorecard shows. Recently added on-cart gps is a nice addition. Only problem is that the gps constantly harps at you to stay on cartpaths-even when you are on the cartpaths Also, the carts will shut down at the slightests cartpath infraction. VERY ANNOYING Clubhouse is rather tired, but......green fees are generally affordable. Crosstimbers is definitely worth a try if you are up for a drive in the country.

Older guy working the check in desk had an attitude this morning definitely effected the beginning of my golf game, put a damper on everyone's mood. Definitely needs to undergo further training on his desk computer and customer service.

I have had three golf tournaments out at Cross Timbers the staff is impeccable relaxed and laid-back attitude helps with the planning of a golf tournament. For the times I have played here the golf course has looked fabulous and greens are in great shape. Keith and his group do a great job all around. We include a burger lunch with our golf tournament which is one of the best hamburgers in the area and competes with any of the hamburger restaurants. Oh and the price is hard to be on as well
