Covid almost killed them when the salad bar wasn't that great but now they are better then ever and prices cheaper then eating at McDonald's and one can get filled just on their fantastic salad bar which includes awesome coleslaw and potato salad and fantastic pinto beans and then could take your entee home (which I had to do)The staff is great and definitely friendly so will make this my to go place

Well I called for a to go order and it's started bad with ordering , she just couldn't get it right. Got it home the food was not very good and we were missing a plate. We were short a meal called back spike to manager and she said we couldn't come back that night it would have to be tomorrow. So we were SOL . SPLIT 2 PLATES 3 WAYS STILL HUNGRY!!

Chicken fried steak doesn’t taste very good, don’t think they’re following food safety guidelines. The beans were pretty good though, although a little too salty.

Absolutely the bottom of the barrel. Don’t go! They have a sewer leak and the place smelled like a septic tank! Saw a waitress take crackers off a table that had just left and put them back in a big bowl with crackers. We hit out of there and went elsewhere. Never going back

Got a ToGo order there tonight and it was horrible. Got the Catfish platter and Shrimp platter the catfish was dry and tasteless. The shrimp was tasteless as well. I'm not one to complain but when my dog won't eat it!!!!! I called and the manager just said sorry. $33.00 for food my dog would not eat! Also the inside smelled like sewer. Make your customers "Happy" Manager, or go get a job your good at. Been in the restaraunt business 30 years and always took care of the customer. Never said, "sorry in a fake voice!" So people beware the place smells like sewer and don't know where the fish came from. Dont say I didn't warn you.
The fried fish, beans, Cole slaw... all so good. I loved the tartar sauce as well!

Exceeded expectations. This restaurant should be 5 stars! Food was delicious and service was great, topnotched despite being incredibly busy! Our server was super sweet, friendly, and fast. Also, reasonably priced! I think the low scored reviews were likely customer issues rather than restaurant or food issues. Just sayin'. We'll definitely visit again. David and Kay

This place was rustic but I suppose that's what they are going for. I got Cajun fish but it doesn't have the appearance of how I remember it in Louisiana it was more red. The stuffed crab was perfect, the fish was ok, seemed like it may have been sitting or not fried hard enough. The salad bar was ok, looked like some stuff was old.
