I've been here a couple of times now with my husband and family. We usually come here to just sit by the water, enjoy a few drinks and eat some fresh fried seafood. The fried seafood is really good. We usually order their coconut shrimp and baked potato and or fried okra. The service is nice, you can seat yourself most of the times. Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the bar and the beautiful view! If you're lucky, you'll catch some great locals showing off their talents on the mic! We LOVE this place! It's our little hide away so Shhhhhhhhh... LOL But bring your family and friends too! The place is huge! Plenty of seating for large groups! And cozy spots for two.

Food is good, but if you tell a server to brown your oysters a little bit, they bring it back black they will tell you that you are wrong and that you can't come back after telling them you said brown not blackend. Especially rude to elder people.

We had a large group of people, sitting was not an issue. Service was prompt and very friendly. food was good and hot, there was a bit of confusion at the end with the bill, but everything ended up well at the end.Thank you

My husband and I used to come here more but stopped for a while because the service had been steadily deteriorating, we are really relaxed but I'm talking about waiting 45 minutes for our first drinks. We haven't been back in about 6 months or so but we were really missing the atmosphere by the water and told some friends we would meet them there for brunch today. What a mistake, after two full hours we had received two drinks and she offered to bring us our check, when we told her we hadn't even received our food yet. She brought it out about 30 minutes later, and when we got the bill we realized we had been charged for the wrong drinks. Sadly, truly, we will not be back. And we know they won't miss us because there are plenty of people who don't mind the long Waits and bad service. But if it's your first time going, be prepared to wait minimally 30 to 45 minutes to be greeted and get your first drink, and another 30 to 45 minutes for your food. This Palapa bar is in one of our favorite locations and we used to absolutely love coming out even though it was a 40 minute drive. Management is really wasting a golden ticket opportunity here. With better, friendlier servers and better service, they could be jam-packed all the time, but I would be surprised if they are still open in another 5 years with the way they treat customers, even returning ones.

Sat there over an hour, no food. Was told about another 20 minutes. Got up walked out. Manager could care less. Never go back. Pacific Seafood restaurant is much better in service and food quality and close by. Very dissapointed. Manager has could care less attitude.

This is exactly the kind of spot I've been needing in my life. Super chilled, laid back, right on the water, outside and inside seating. Incredibly friendly service. Our server/bartender upstairs was fantastic(I didn't get her name but she had blonde/pink hair, I think)) we went on a Sunday just in time for Singo!anyway 10/10 will be there again. That banana drink is so good!!

The food here is always fresh and delicious. They have something on the menu for everyone. The only downfall is food timeliness if you're there for late lunch or dinner. The servers are always courteous and polite. It is a very chill place, so make sure you allow for an hour and a half on average. If you're going for breakfast, that's different. You are usually in and out for that time of day.
