The Service has always been prompt, and courteous. The atmosphere is bustling, and beautiful, because it’s outside, and downtown. The food is top notch! The food presentation is very beautiful, very tasty. It is fresh, light, yummy.

Delicious crepes! Fresh and organic wholesome ingredients. They source from local farms. “Abelito” is what the grandkids call the chef. It is a husband and wife team, family business. Such a wonderful place. Excellent customer service (you fee at home) and the crepes are divine. We tried an Oreo one and it was heavenly. This one pictured is la crème with strawberries ?!

They have MASTERED the crepe over here. They have plenty of sweet or savory options to make everyone happy. We had the chefs choice (chicken and mushroom) and the Mexican choco (chocolate and strawberries) and me and my husband are waddling out of here. Tried this amazing place this morning for breakfast, sorry too hungry to take a picture. I had the ham & cheese with the salad. So good! I came back later in the afternoon for a sweet treat. Sorry no pictures, it just looked so good, I had to it all up. LOL

Since I visited Paris in my twenties I’ve longed for the same caliber crepes available in the same mobile format, and I’ve finally been satisfied by Abelitos crepe cafe food truck in Bastrop TX! Absolutely delectable savory crepes (they have sweet too, and lots of options, but that’s not my thang) and all ingredients were sautéed well without being overdone. The edges had that delightful crisp that you not only expect but long for. I’m exceptionally picky about chicken, and it was a sumptuous ingredient with no sign of unpleasant common surprises (NO gristle). Additionally I was surprised that the basic side salad was delicious as well! Beautiful greens (not iceberg) with a dressing that was a beautiful balance of savory and sweet. And the back story and the supportive family are quite a boon! Highly recommended!
