I was surprised to find Thai food here and we tried it out. It was a good experience! Service was very good. The quality of the food was also very good; my only complaint is that the portion size was small, smaller than I expect even for this price range (prices were quite low, but even for such low prices the portions were a bit small.) So I would prefer paying a little bit more and getting a bit more food. Thai food is often pretty light, because there are so many vegetables and the sauces are not that heavy, so I need to eat more of it to feel full. The atmosphere is very minimal, this is a run-down hole-in-the-wall in a run-down plaza. That's fine by me, it was clean and the lighting was pleasant so they had done the best they could do without a more expensive redesign of the interior. But it still was one of the more run-down looking restaurants we had eaten at during our time in Texas.

I order here frequently through uber or I'll pickup. My last 3 orders I have gotten extremely small portions. I get everything is expensive but they are as small as an appetizer. I got green curry last night with 3 pieces of chicken. My husband got pad kra prow and barely anything in that meal as well. When I 1st started ordering here the portions were good sizes. Not too small and not too big. It's no longer worth the price

We have ordered from this little place twice now and we have been very impressed! We will continue to order our food here! They are speedy with delivery as well which is awesome! The Pad Thai with Tofu is my absolute fave! Their vegetarian egg-rolls are simply amazing!

The food was very good and the staff was super friendly. They weren't joking about the spice levels, I'm going to get the hottest next time?

One of the best restaurants in Bastrop. Love the taste. Definitely recommended. We had basil fried rice and green curry. Their mango and rice dessert is delicious.

We ordered delivery for dinner. We’ve got dumplings, green curry with chicken, yellow curry with chicken and Tom Kha soup. Tom Kha was absolutely nothing like I used to eat, it suppose to have sweet sour taste and slightly orange color. Instead it was VERY sweet and the color of actual milk. No sour taste at all, no lemon grass taste and no red curry paste was used. it was pretty gross. Just very sweet. Curry tasted good, just very few small pieces of chicken in it and very small amount of rice. Too much sugar in curry as well. Also, whoever dropped the food off , didn’t ring the doorbell. We were wondering why does it take so long, my husband checked online and it said food was delivered. They just left it by the door without letting us know..

Stopped by K'Nyaw Thai Cuisine for the first time for lunch today. Ordered the Pad Gra Pow Pork. It was tasty and with a nice spiciness. They use mostly local ingredients. I missed the little red chilis. The pork was sliced. I would of preferred ground pork. I will be going back soon.

Quiet hole in the wall place. Forgot to take pictures. Really my only negative is that they don't have a lunch menu. The food was delicious I enjoyed the tum yum soup with shrimp and the red curry customized as I don't care for eggplant. Spice level was just enough. Will be back!

They carry all my favorite Thai dishes and the flavor is there, so I've been here several times and will come back. Nom Tok, Larb, Tom Kha, Pad Kee Mao, all the Thai curries... plus many other rice dishes, noodle dishes, etc.. The ambiance is lacking for me. They've decorated about 80% of it, but the area behind the counter is unfinished. And there is no music playing. I wouldn't come here on date night. But the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The attendant was fine, but spread thin, and not professionally trained. He was our host ("sit anywhere"), our waiter, our server, and he bussed tables.Still... we love Thai and they do justice to the cuisine.

My wife and I have eaten Thai food restaurants all over the United States and yes in the Pacific Rim countries. We started here in Bastrop with a lot of trepidations about Thai. Wow! We were very surprised. The restaurant is clean, the staff is fantastic with attention and explanations of the menu. We started with the basics. Papaya Salad, Pad Thai and Green Curry. Everything is perfectly seasoned and delicious. Thai home cooking lives in Bastrop. It's on our list as a regular Thai food spot.
