It's understood that if you go during peak hours, you will wait for a long time to get your food. However, the last two times I went with a friend of mine, both times it took over 15 minutes before we were approached by a waiter/waitress to even get our drink order. Then the first time it took an hour to get our food. The second time, over an hour later not only had we not gotten our food yet, the wait staff hadn't even checked on us one time.We were literally a table of two, it only takes a second to check on us. Ya'll gotta do better. It doesn't matter if the food and drinks are good if you never get them.

Great drinks, great food, great atmosphere and service, but really disappointed that the wings stopped being served as a gluten free option! They were my go-to favorites and I’ve come many times just for that. Please bring it back!

A beautiful, serene patio, endless choices in creative handmade pizzas you won’t find anywhere else, classic blues music playing while we ate, and some of the friendliest, knowledgeable wait staff I’ve encountered in a long time. All I can say is I WANNA GO BACK SOOOOON!!Vegetarian options: Build your own pizza or ask for any of their many specialties without meat and/or with dairy free cheese instead. They’re super flexible!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust is available for the pizzas and it’s GOOD! Dairy free cheese substitutes also available!

I stopped by for lunch this past weekend while in town visiting family. The Chicken Salad Sandwich and Homestyle chips really hit the spot! I love the location and how it overlooks the River. Great addition to the Bastrop community.
We moved to Bastrop about a year ago and just visited Neighbor's for the first time last night. I told my husband I felt cheated that we didn't try this place sooner! We each ordered a 10" pizza and oh my goodness....BEST pizza we've had not only here in Bastrop but for a long time!! What a gem of a local establishment. You've got a choice to sit outside and eat overlooking the Colorado River or inside. I loved the atmosphere inside and the wood tables with bench seating. Our waitress was very friendly, answered all our questions and kept our drinks full. The pizza was served hot, right out of the oven and it was delicious! Whether you live in Bastrop or are visiting, this is an absolute MUST eat at restaurant, we can't wait to go back!!

No idea how this place has so many excellent reviews. We tried it a month ago and had horrible horrible service. The place is so cool and has good reviews so we tried it again. Again, absolutely terrible service. We waited an hour for a table after host told us it would be 25 min. Then another 20 for anyone to come by. Then we finally ordered and they said it’d be ANOTHER hour for pizza. We got up and left ann hour and an half later with no food. Absolutely ridiculous.
