Went to Bastrop today to Taco Cabana drove from Elgin, simple order, 2 Beef Tacos, Largen chips and Cheese, Taco Grande plater and order of refried beans. GOT; 1/2 the Taco Grande meal and chips...did pay full price for everything! Called the corporate office and they hung up on me, called local TC and they would not answer. I have loved Taco Cabana since growing up in Austin, but unfortunately this location in Bastrop is hurting the chain’s reputation. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this is the second time my order has been incorrect, and the enchiladas are somehow both rock hard and ice cold. And upon first walking in the restaurant, it smells like a restroom. I feel frustrated that I just spent $20 on mostly inedible food.

We waited 20 minutes to get our food. When we did the eggs in the breakfast taco were wet and the carne asada tacos were soon dry. Not ever going back.

There was no customers in the restaurant and it took a while before anyone came to the front to help us. Ordered tacos and took them to go. Tacos were made wrong and the meat did not test right. Drove away before we noticed will not be returning to this location.

Not a good experience. Alicia got my order incorrect. Once I realized I was charged for something I didn't order, Alicia was too busy on her cell phone to even notice me. The cooks had to tell her to pay attention to me. Manager had to refund, correct my order and recharge me. I called before writing this review to give the location a chance to explain. The manager said crispy black bean tacos don't exist and said "THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THAT" and HUNG UP ON ME. This location was not busy (I was the only one in the drive through). Really pitiful customer service. Boo.

Good consistent Mexican food. Hot made in restaurant flour tortillas. My favorite breakfast is bean and cheese breakfast taco. Taco Cabana's beans in any form is the best. Lastly the restaurant is always clean.

I try and stay positive or not say anything, but the lady at the counter not professional at all. We got ten breakfast tacos, seems like the tortillas get smaller with each visit and the filling is not adequate in any sense. For the price, it fails, quantity, it fails, taste, nothing to write home about.

The chicken tacos were really good, beef taco was OK, queso was horrible. The chicken tacos were tasty and well filled. The queso was chunky, not sure why, so I didn't eat it. All the tables in the lobby look dirty and needed to be wiped down.

I gave the service 4 stars because my order was wrong and the manager who was running the register was nowhere to be found. One of the cooks from the back took the time and initiative to make my order right. Cudos to you. The cooks in the back were very nice and helpful. The manager was not, even when she took my order it was like she was angry and distracted and then she disappeared completely.

Got there at 9:10pm on Monday night and waited in the drive through for 5 minutes with no answer, called the phone number with no answer, and had to back out of the drive thru because I waited behind someone at the drive thru window for 5 minutes too. What a trashy branch.

The cashier can never get your order right. The place was dirty, the tables were not cleaned, the floors dirty and I won't even talk about the bathroom! After standing there for 15 minutes, waiting for my order, one of the guys in the kitchen asked me what I had ordered. He then proceeded to tell me they didn't have my order. When I finally got it it was wrong. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
