“MANAGAERS PLEASS READ!!The other day I was stopping by for a meal and ice cream via drive thru and I was greeted by a wonderful young lady. She made me feel as if I was being taken care of and she also made sure to let me know what deals or special that had at the time! She was kind and efficient in taking my order. When I approached the window to receive my order she had the warmest welcoming smile and really made me feel as if I was getting the best quality service anyone could receive from a lovely little shop. As I paid she engaged in a little small talk with me as we waited for my order and even told me to stay safe after I received my order!! What a great customer experience I had at this location since the other two in town are not exactly the best haha! The young lady's name was Victoria! GIVE HER A RAISE HAHA!! She is an amazingly hospitable employee.“
“Both employees "Darren and Eliana" were hardworking. Darren prepared really delicious sandwitches while Eliana was cleaning the restaurant. I feel they both need raise in their pay.As I was the only one in the store; as a customer, I asked Darren that What is the experience like while preparing sandwitches; what are your thoughts? He said, they must be prepared in a way you like to have it for yourself instead of messing up and submitting "garbage" to customer. I really liked that answer as that is my mentality as well; prepare food the way you want to have. This is because you never know how the customer's day has passed, how hungry the customer is, and what is going on in his healthy lifestyle. It is always better to prepare the food in a way you want to have, for others (customers). Lovely thought Darren.Similarly, Eliana said that restaurant must stay clean the way we want to have our home to stay neat and clean. “Thoroughly enjoyed the extra care Valerie put into the experience today. Was expecting a subway sandwich- wrapped in a bag- nope! In a great way!! She put it in a boat, served it with napkins and chips- great presentation. Fantastic portioning and even creation for a consistent bite across the sandwich. Totally surprised me. Great job Valerie!“
“I went through the drive-through so I can’t really say about the atmosphere. The girl working the drive-through, was very pleasant and seem to enjoy her job, which made it enjoyable for me to go there. The food was excellent. I usually steer clear of chicken express because it’s kind of pricey, but these days what is not pricey? I got the four piece chicken strip, half spicy half regular corn on the cob, a roll and white gravy and a drink for $10. The spicy tenders were really spicy in a good way and the non-spicy ones were really good in a non-spicy way. They have sweet baby rays honey mustard, and barbecue. The roll was really good. if my budget allows it, I will return.Oh, heads up, my friend wanted me to pick her up a three-piece dark spicy bone in chicken, but they only have spicy in the tenders. She also got a biscuit, mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of corn nugget things and of course a DP. Hers was $14.08.I wonder if they have an app where you can get points to get discounts or if they have any kind of discount program that would be nice. Also, the Coke and the Dr Pepper tasted very good as opposed to some fountain drinks in and around Bay City since most places don’t seem to use filters on their water or soda fountains. Seems like Matagorda county has the worst water I’ve ever drank in my whole life. But at least it’s not green like where I live in Sargent. Obviously I don’t drink Sargent water.“
“The food is good, but the service is super slow, and for goodness sake, bring back your actual menus. Whoever bought the cheap a$$ printer and decided to print it without color is a cheapskate and a fool. Don't even attempt to try to figure out what the wing flavors are from the poorly printed, mostly black, and white menu. Be ready to use your phone to get that information.“
“This is my favorite subway. Its not the closest to me, but it's well worth the trip.. I've tried all of them. This location, in my opinion, makes the best sammiches lol. The employees are friendly and every sub they've made me has been gorgeous.. and not skimped out kwim. They don't put 5 black olives, and 5 pickles.. they make a bona-fide sub. Last guy that made my sub, was a true artist.. super nice and I was in and out quickly. Thank you guys. Oh yea, the closest subway to me charges me $8 for a footlong turkey, this location charged me just over $7.. dunno why the other locations ring me up at $8, whatever. Parking lot is a little small, but they didn't build the parking lot lol. Best location for a subway sandwich in Bay City.“
“I ordered a burger, a fish sandwich, onion rings, and a large Dr.Pepper last night, for drive-thru pickup. When I arrived, the drive-thru was really full of cars, so I went inside to the counter. My order was not immediately ready, but the friendly lady at the counter offered me my Dr. Pepper, and told me that they were waiting on the dish to come out of the fryer. I got my order in about 5 minutes, and the lady apologized for the wait. I was so hungry and it smelled so good, I ate the whole fish sandwich by the time I got back home! The Dr. Pepper was perfect, as was the fish and the burger. The only thing I would change is the onion rings, but they were fresh and hot too…but I wish B-K would upgrade their onion rings. However, this is a corporate menu item, and does not reflect negatively on this store in Bay City. I certainly will be back!!! Good job!!!“
“We just drove thru this McDonald's for a quick snack. I wanted an ice cream cone. I made a point of asking to make sure there was someone working who actually knows how to make a proper McDonald's cone. I was thrilled when Michaela handed me the most perfect cone! As a former employee of McDonald's in high school (many moons ago), I've found that this is a dying skill. Well done, Michaela. Bravo!“
“I hadn't been to Whataburger in a couple months, so I was craving a Whataburger Jr. It was late, maybe 5-6 P.M., and I wanted to get home before dark (home is 30 miles away). So I went through the drive through at Whataburger in Bay City and wow! I got the most beautiful, freshest Whataburger Jr. I had ever gotten here!! Don't know if management changed, or they got a new cook, but that was the BEST burger I've had in years!! I called the manager to let her know because she needs to keep that person working full time (and overtime lol) !!I am going back as soon as I can and I sure hope I get the same cook as that day!! As a customer, I don't mind waiting an extra few minutes to get my order done right and my veggies cut just right and not just slapped on the burger. Burger builders also need to make sure they don't overdo or under do the mustard, mayo etc. I sure hope the new Whataburger owners are going to start making sure everyone is trained well and in the exact same way!! They've got to get back to the standards of the original Whataburger family. We don't want all that new fancy menu--just food Ole delicious ORIGINAL Whataburgers made fresh the way we want it!! Who's with me on this??“
