Exploring Dumpling Time in Baytown, I was pleasantly surprised by the emergence of an upscale Asian eatery, reflecting the area's growth. The restaurant boasts industrial-modern Asian vibes, offering a unique atmosphere. While trying the Mopo tofu, I appreciated the well-balanced flavors, though a bit more spice could elevate the experience. The soup dumplings were comparatively bland and might not be the first choice unless a strong craving arises. However, the other dumpling dishes surpassed expectations, with the bao showcasing a delightful combination of a crispy exterior and a soft, generously stuffed interior. In summary, Dumpling Time stands as a solid choice for modern Chinese dim sum in the local area, though it might not warrant a lengthy journey.

We will be back! The waitress was so nice and attentive. The food was really good. We ordered the spicy cucumber appetizer, pork dumplings, and Dandan noodles and they were all delicious. It is in a little strip mall but the inside was clean and nice.

Mongolian Beef to salivate for and it pairs perfectly with Hot & Sour soup which I'm not normally a fan of but it was yummy.I'd skip the spring rolls though, unless you enjoy finger sized pastry with hard any veggies. The Chicken Pot Stickers were good but a bit bready but the sauce pairs perfectly with the delicious Shitake & Chicken Dumplings!

I was really surprised to find this authentic Chinese dumpling and bao restaurant in the middle of Baytown. Their quality rivals the restaurants in Chinatown in Houston and the service and atmosphere was loads better. We ordered the chicken and eggplant, fried pork dumplings and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings were a bit small and not as good as others I've had. But the pork dumplings made up for it. So juicy and filled with meat. The eggplant and chicken came out sizzling hot and was so flavorful. To top it off we had the cream piggie baos which were adorable and tasty.Highly recommend Dumpling Time if you want an authentic Chinese bao experience in a lovely setting and great service!

It's overpriced. Decent quality, small portion, and good atmosphere. Staff is hit or miss. They can disappear in you. It is a quiet little spot for date night, but go for the quiet time to hangout, not because you're trying to impress with quality restaurant

We had orange chicken, chicken lo mein and pork buns. The food was sooooo good and came out pretty quick. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly throughout our meal. We will definitely be back soon

Food is always great service is ok , my one major complaint is that I picked up my food once ,when I got back to my car realized they gave me wrong dish so I head back in and they refused to re make my correct order because the kitchen staff was going on break in 10 minutes even though it was their mistake which I found ridiculous so had to get a refund

I have been to Asia and I have to day this is as close to there as you can come. It is a unique restaurant that we stumbled upon heading home from a trip. There was a lady in a glass enclosed room viewable to the patrons who was hand making all of the different dumplings and other things as well. The noodles are all hand made too. The food was accompanied with each a different sauce that went well with the item it came with. We ordered so much of everything to try and have no complaints at all. It was all delicious. My boys tried everything and loved it all. I plan on stopping back in October when we will be traveling thru.

It's my first time here. I ordered the juicy pork buns and the soup bao dumplings. Oh my goodness. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try two more new things.

The customer service here has improved and the food: Spicy cubed chicken that comes with white rice, wonton egg soup (my preference), chicken egg rolls, and the veggies rice is DELICIOUS ? Usually dine in but this is take out pics and they don't skimp on portions*

As a Chinese-Vietnamese American who's eaten thousands of dumplings and wontons in their lifetime, this place 100% AUTHENTIC. I'm honestly surprised that such a delicious Chinese restaurant is nestled in Baytown and not in Bellaire Blvd (aka Chinatown). What a huge win for the city of Baytown. I brought my American/Texan father in law here who's never ventured into Asian food (period) and even HE really enjoyed the wontons and dumplings. Also helps that our server was super attentive and kind. Highly highly recommended! Don't walk. RUN. Recommend: Soup dumplings, spicy pork wontons in chili oil, salt n pepper shrimp.
