Brisket was dry and lacked flavor. BBQ sauce was very vinegary. The meat was lukewarm. Potato salad was ok. My wife's chicken, however was, in part, way undercooked, dangerously so. When this was pointed out to the staff, there was little or no concern, and no one came to check. Overall, disappointing. And no reaction to this review from Going's - says it all - obviously don't care.

Worst bbq I’ve ever had. Meet was rare and no smoke at all. Lacks seasoning and you can tell it’s oven cooked. Don’t call yourself bbq if you don’t even put it on a pit! Save your money go to Jack in the box.

Turkey sandwich tasted like processed turkey breast just thrown on a smoker. Chopped beef (by pound) EXTREMELY DRY like cardboard hardly swallow unless saturated with BBQ sauce. Never again unfortunately. They used to be really good.

I had saved this location as a place I wanted to try. It had the highest Google star rating in the area at 4.2 and the reviews looked good. I drove 9 miles out of my way to try it out. Sadly I was not impressed. The the sandwich was a little less expensive than most BBQ places at $7.75 for sliced beef but the total for a drink, fries, sandwich and beans was still about $18, like most places. Based on reviews I was hoping the BBQ would be worth the trip but unfortunately, I found the brisket to be dry and it lacked flavor. I asked for more BBQ sauce hoping it would help but it was very watered down and bland. I had hoped to find a new favorite place for BBQ in the Baytown area but sadly I do not feel it's worth going even if it wasn't a bit out of the way.

Had the 8 oz ribeye steak medium rare. It was tender and perfectly delicious. I'm on the Lion Diet, but opted for the fries anyway. And yes the fries were crispy and delicious. My wife had the chopped baker and was very pleased. We will return.

Great food, great selection! Nice place to get bar b que. We tried the chicken, the ribs & the brisket, with 2 sides for under $15.
My group ordered over 200 chopped beef and turkey sandwiches from Going’s as well as some baked potatoes. The owner was very easy to work with and the order was ready on time. All the food was fantastic! Our entire group loved the BBQ. The only comment (not a complaint) for anyone reading this and planning on making a large group order…the owner is the person that takes these kinds of orders, so if she wasn’t available, I’d have to call back a couple different times to reach her. That was not a problem for me but letting others know.
