We went to Sara’s today for lunch, the food is homemade and absolutely amazing, my husband got the fried pork chops, mashed potatoes and cabbage with awesome cornbread, I had the chicken fried chicken with homemade cream gravy best I’ve had!! We had a taste of there oxtails with gravy and rice oh my so good!! This restaurant is a must for lunch or dinner!!!

This was the first time dining at Sarah's. I must say the food was great. Plates hot and loaded,drinks cold and sweet (real Koolaid )best dessert ever, hot and fresh German chocolate cake my favorite! And to top it off price was perfect. Just had date night and hubby ordered this dish! Let me tell you all, it was amazing!!!First time to go and will definitely not be the last! I had the chicken fried chicken! It was so juicy and the breading light and perfect!Last, but not least the service was point on, friendly, and down home. Everyone from Sarah the owner to the waiters and cooks were supper friendly.If you have not been you need to go! If it has been a while you need to go back!Thank you Sarah's for a great date night!!

NOT WORTH $20. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I CALLED AHEAD AND WAS TOLD MY ORDER WOULD BE READY IN 10 MINUTES AND OF COURSE IT WASNT READY WHEN I GOT THERE 15 MINUTES LATER. I WOULD'VE DID BETTER WAITING AT MCDONALD'S. I WANTED CORNBREAD WITH MY ORDER BUT SETTLED FOR TOAST AND BY THE WAY I DIDN'T GET TOAST EITHER. I PAID TOO MUCH MONEY FOR CANNED GREENS.

Mixed Taste BudsThe server was nice. The ox tails were really good and tender. The smothered pork chops were average. The catfish was good but the coating seemed a little sweet. The shrimp was good and the toast. The sides were not very good. I could not find one broccoli floret in the BROCCOLI cheese casserole. The greens tasted similar to greens in the can with a little added seasoning and the mac and cheese was nothing to write home about. I was offered a piece of peach cobbler, it may have been good but was turned off on how much crust it was. I know to each it's own. I saw previous reviews were the owner/manager get fly when someone's review is not a raving 5 star but it is just my opinion and YOU, the next potential customer, can do with it what you will...the entire premises behind reviews. When an honest review is given (with no malice) take the feedback and use it to your advantage or don't take it but for the love of God, don't fight with the Reviewer like they are not entitled to their opinion or not entitled to say they don't like your food. I think you should try it but don't get hype like I was when I saw the menu.

The proteins were excellent however the sides were horrible. Don't believe the greens are fresh rather from a can and the broccoli cheese casserole left me looking for the cheese and broccoli it did have plenty of green specs still unsure what those were (if I'm wrong please post a picture with a piece of broccoli in it). The macaroni and cheese could of been good if it had some seasoning in it. Would get the proteins only but it's a no on the sides and desert for me. Of course to each its own so take it with a grain of salt and add it to the Mac and cheese:-)
This was our 2nd time eating at Sarah's. Both times we really enjoyed the food and the employees. After the1st time my husband and I said that when my parents visit from Oklahoma we have got to take them to Sarah's. That is what we did and my parents loved it. It was a joy to get to meet Sarah! Thanks for the great food! It is worth the 40 min. drive.

Come here for good Caribbean food. I got the oxtails and a pitcher of koolaid to share. We demolished everything. I legit can’t wait to come back. I’d post a picture but it looked too good when it came out.

I had the rice and gravy turkey wings were tender falling off the bone, and then had the boil snow cluster lord the season on them perfect, now them oxtail a nether story tender. Love the home cooking soul food.

Today @ July 23rd , 2021 i placed an order @10:55 and order was accepted with a 15min time for pickup , now the last time i came to sarahs was quick and phenomenal, this time however food quality for my etouffee and blackened shrimp was great with the exception of the toast which was just a piece of loaf bread grilled, not something that should lay beside a 16.00+ bowl of etouffee. The worst part of this experience was the looooong wait , i didnt get my order until 11:35with no sorry or any kind of discount or extras, but the 4.5 foot security guard next to me got extra shrimp and the owner was sure to tell her this. This bad customer service and i will not return.

My 13 year old Sun and I tried out the Colossal Boil Shrimp plate and the Seafood Gumbo with a large order of conversation afterwards because the food really hit the spot since we wanted some seafood action...THE SHRIMP WAS HUGE!
