I took my girlfriend to Saltgrass for an early Valentine's Day dinner 2-13-24 and checked in at the front desk for a party of 2. When we sat down to wait, they immediately sat the next 3 tables that had walked in the front doors that were parties of 2 before us tell I asked to speak to the manager. Then they were taking names and phone numbers of the guests walking in and never took our name and number. This is just a slap in the face. We asked for bread, and they didn't have any bread made so we had to wait 15-20 minutes to receive break. When I used my $25 reward for my meal it only took off $22.04. The manager said it was a computer typo and would correct itself and it didn't so I insisted that they change my ticket until they adjusted it because a water wasn't added to my bill to receive the full $25 discount. The last 3 time I've been to this location I've had nothing but issues from wrong bills to overcooked steaks. During this visit it took 2.5 hours from the time I arrived, order a meal, and pay my bill. It's ridiculous that I was at this restaurant for that long. Saltgrass has lost my business for good, I've had enough of this. This isn't a professional establishment. I will be reaching out to the corporate office.

Food was good and hot, not the best though. It did take over an hour to receive the main course. Do better on the time. And the water tasted like faucet water.

There were 4 of us, and I was the only one who ordered a steak. It was over cooked and tough. Since I was paying, it’s upsetting that my food was terrible. So many times when I have ordered steaks at other places, the waiter asks me to cut my steak to see if it’s cooked right. He didn’t ask and left too fast for me to complain. Since it is mainly a steakhouse, they need to know how to cook a steak.

Decent food for sure, but prices are the highest you'll find in Baytown. Steak is well prepared and nicely seasoned and sides are flavorful and varied. Service is friendly and nicely paced. Music is a little loud for the slightly more formal atmosphere than what is usually found in this town but that's okay by me! I'm a fan, it's my go to for a nice night out close to home.

I took some customers to lunch here today and Saltgrass killed it. We all chose the Salmon which was cooked but not dried out inside and seared with a light crisp. The honey glazed brussel sprouts were great. I also had a house salad but they are consistently on point with a fresh salad and I wasn't disappointed.

The waitress was nice. The unsweetened iced tea was good. The atmosphere was pleasant. Things were kinda overpriced. We probably won't go back. But we can say we've been there!

I ordered the LUMP crab tower. I'll add a picture. It might as well have been canned tuna. Not a lump in sight. The manager came over and gave a lame explanation. Don't put one thing on the menu and serve another. This is not lump crab. The server was very kind and attentive. The drinks on point, but the food was not as advertised.

For my aunts birthday, we decided on coming here for the delicious food especially the chicken fried steak are a big hit with our family. The waitress brings out the bread with a dab of butter in each container not even full so we requested more, that seem to hurt her feelings. We order two appetizers and drinks and it was like we were doing her a favor, It was awkward. She take the order of entrées fried steaks and ribeyes with side and salads. The steaks were a very poor quality and sides were over cooked and dry. The atmosphere and ambience poor especially the music, loud and boring. She could've got a really good tip. Everyone had their money to tip and pay, and when we asked each person how they felt about the service. They said poor and dollar tip that she was lazy. We eat out 3 to 5 times a week and tipped very well for good customer service. This waitress doesn't enjoy her job or maybe just needs a course in diversity

Violeta is by far the worst server we ever had. Barely checked on us. Chad is awesome. He came to see how we were doing. He remembered us from a previous visit. But Violeta? We never want to be in her section again. We usually have great experiences here. But last time, she was a major let down

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We were a party of 5 and the moment we walked in they had an awful attitude! Our whole party was not there (One was Missing) and they couldn’t seat us (which is understandable) but the attitude was unnecessary! The lady who was up at the Host Stand continued rolling her eyes and when our other member of our party walked in I went back and told her “He is here” she AGAIN rolled her eyes then handed the silverware to another hostess to seat us. Once we got to the table we already told our waitress that we needed the manager and we waited about 20 minutes before she even came over and the server did NOT even tell her that we needed her. OUR SILVERWARE WAS FILTHY AND SHE BROUGHT US PLASTIC FORKS AND KNIVES. The manager did discount our food due to all the problems during our time at the restaurant. 4 out of 5 got steak and once the helper brought our our food we had asked her for butter… she NEVER came back. We asked another and waiting 30 minutes plus for the butter! By then our steaks were cold! Our sever NEVER came by when our food was brought out to see if they have been cooked properly like Saltgrass and Longhorn Steakhouse does. Instead she was up at the hostess stand taking to them instead of checking her tables. Finally she comes over and we ask for the manager AGAIN and we tell the manager that we waited the amount of time mentioned above. She had asked if she could take our steaks back and REHEAT them. I will say this is the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! WE WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER COME BACK HERE! They have LOST our business!

A bonafide, certified Texan Steak dinner. Good service, great ambiance, and delicious steaks. I ordered an eight oz center cut top sirloin and it was succulent and savory juicy with ever bite size morsel— a serious lip smacking pleasure! Hubby had a totally different deal; his T-bone was superb. End of story! The sides to the meal ( fresh string beans - perfectly Al dente and fresh glazed Brussels sprouts) were equally well prepared and dished up to total customer satisfaction! Our 85 lb puppy loved the dinner arrangements as well. She sat peacefully at our feet at the bar ( she is a service dog) and for good behavior, after we ate, she received tiny tasty tidbits of our steaks.
