Service and food were great. However, if you have allergies I would avoid this place. I sneezed several times and all my nasal passages swelled form something in that building.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. From the decor to the food to the service. Jonathon is one of the best servers I've ever had. Steak was cooked to perfection. He personally made the brownie Sundae and it was absolutely delicious. If you take any of these reviews to heart let it be this one. You will not regret it. If bad service is your problem. Ask for Jonathon. 10/10 would return and highly recommend. I've lived in 6 different states and this is in top 5 restaurants I've ever been to.

The customer service here is absolutely horrible. We have currently been waiting for an hour and a half for food. After taking our food order, our waitress disappeared for 45 minutes. No drinks, no communication. Nothing. When we complained to the manager, she simply said, you reserved a room for 20 but more showed up. We have 25 people. We expected to wait on food. We did not expect our waitress to disappear.

This place used to be one of my favorite steak places. For three times in a row, the steak has been overly salty and they no longer offer whole kernel corn, only cob. But, the nail in the coffin was the mouse scurrying from the corner to the inside of the fireplace. Barf.

Been here a lot through the years and can say that I have never really had a bad experience. The bread is awesome! Not as good as when they use to do the cheese bread but still awesome. All food I have ever eaten has been great and the service is usually better. The only real complaint I ever have had is that there sometimes is a wait to get a seat because they are so busy and the Bloody Mary needs some type of garnish. All said, these are not enough to keep me away. You should try this place.

Just gonna go with a 3 based off my last 2 experiences here. 1st time I was with a large group so it was very difficult to get the server to bring things. My ribeye was a good piece of meat but I think she waited to bring mine with the rest of the large group order because the steak was barely warm and fet. alfredo was cold. Second time I went was at about 3pm and there wasn't one person in the restaurant literally. Server seemed very put out to have to help me since she was vacuuming and cleaning tables etc. It's TX, be friendly right? So to the below reviews about consistency, I can see after 2 times there it depends on who serves you and how busy they are.

Steak was not marbled, the steak in the salad was way over cooked and hard. We will not return. Only gave it a 2 because the rolls were good. Would have give a 1 if not for that

This is my second review for Cattle Co. I have completely had a change of heart. This used to my our go to place not anymore. This used to be a great place for lunch or dinner. That has changed. My family visited this place to have dinner, and when we arrived the place seemed a bit empty. We didn't mind that just meant we would get our food faster so we were excited. The hostess was very nice and friendly. Our waitress on the other hand is a WHOLE new story. When approached our table and was not friendly at all. She did not even smile. She took our drink orders and returned to take our order. My husband asked a few questions about the steak he wanted to order, and she acted as if she was bothered by him asking her anything. Our food came out very fast, everything looked good, until my husband tasted his steak( a ribeye called the Drover). The main reason for our visit because my husband wanted this particular steak because he has had it several times in the past. First of all the size of the ribeye was much smaller than in the past.It was supposed to be a 16oz and it looked more like a 12oz. This was the most expensive steak on the menu. He liked this particular cut because it is supposed to be marbled with fat throughout. Well this steak was dry like sand paper. I tasted it and It was terrible. I had the chicken fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes. The chicken was good but the potatoes were cold. My daughter was not satisfied with her food either. My son was the only one satisfied. We have been eating at The Cattle Co. for years. The service is worst and the food portions are smaller and are not at all as good as its been in the past. I don't think we will ever return here. It has just gone down.

This was a huge disappointment!!!! We thought that by coming to a "Steak House" we would get a decent piece of meat, well we were sadly mistaken. The ribeye was so thin & tough it was hard to chew. Another restaurant bites the dust, Mark this one off your list. Don't waste your time or money!

I went here with my family on a Friday night and I was a little shocked at how empty the parking lot was when we parked. After eating here, I realized why. We ordered fried pickles to start with and I felt we did not receive anywhere close to enough pickles for the price. There were maybe 15 small pickle slices placed on a large plate with the largest side of ranch I've ever seen. Most places give you a heaping basket of fried pickles. The waiter also messed up our order because the restaurant insists on calling items cute names like "the cowboy" rather than your typical steak orders like a 16 ounce sirloin. My dad ended up with a sirloin instead of the porterhouse he had been looking forward to all day, but ate it anyway because he never likes to send food back. The steaks weren't that good. I don't know if it's the seasoning they use or just the meat in general. It just felt very lacking compared to other steak houses I've been to.

My 3 co workers and I were the first ppl there on a Friday morning. Waited 30 min for food and everything was ice cold. One had burnt meatloaf with brown gravy like jello pudding. The other had pasta that was almost frozen and stuck together. It didn't used to be like this. Won't be going back.

I could not have been happier. I had the pot roast and it was delicious!! They also have great sides, sweet tea, bread and the highlight of my visit...bread pudding. We live over an hour away but will be back soon to enjoy this meal again.

Good Food, Good Service, Great Value. This place is a triple play. Thank you all for making our meal a great experience.

Restaurant is clean an the staff is friendly so my rating is solely based on the food. Super disappointing. I ordered the cowboy nachos to start off with.. seems like they use a steak strip that was mostly gristle. Nothing too exciting about the queso very bland. I have never seen cornbread this dark... How can you mess up mashed potatoes? Worst steakhouse experience ever...
