My only experience at this restaurant was with a coarse wait person, so it's hard to determine precisely how great a Restaurant is when the wait staff is rude to the customers. The food was OK, but we were rushed, and when asked for simple requests, we were denied, like a refill on drinks, sauces, etc. The wait staff person replied, "We're closed ma'am", but you weren't closed when we came into the establishment. A restaurant should at least complete the dining experience with customers before closing.

Been eating at Chaba’s for many years & never disappointed, until yesterday evening. Normally eat at the Nederland location because it’s closer, but decided to visit the Beaumont location because they offer the green curry dish which my girlfriend likes. I order the usual “Pad See Ew” with beef & make it spicy. Ate this particular dish hundreds of times, but this time it wasn’t the same. Quickly noticed the food was not evenly hot, some parts were cool which was weird & flavor profile was off but I just ignored it & continue eating. get home and noticed my stomach is beginning to hurt. I’m laying in bed right now in pain & cannot sleep. Worst case of food poisoning I ever had. Stomach is in tremendous pain, had the chills/fever, shivers… just horrible. Agonizing stomach pain…

Friendly staff and great food. Happy Hour menu offers a good value. Had never had fish tofu before & glad I tried it. Pineapple curry was excellent. Interior is due for a little updating but food is really good.
