I'm really not a big fan of Chicken Express I had to go get a little something to eat real quick from their next to Sherwin-Williams on college Street in Beaumont Texas and what I got was The corn poppers and apple and a large root beer it was all pretty good but that's all I can say.

I never been big on chicken Xpress, but tonight 3/14/24 they did the big one. Everything was good from the food to the service. Even the building was clean. I had the spicy chicken tenders and they were very fresh. The macaroni was extremely delicious if you see this tonight hurry up and get there lol.

No complaints. Spicy tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, roll, and unsweet tea. All spot on for taste and no errors with order. Can't speak for the atmosphere for dine-in, as I passed thru the drive thru, but they were friendly, got the order right and quick.

Had been wanting gizzards so decided to give it a try on my lunch break. Have to save the guy working the register was great , certy courteous and a nice change from the typical grumpy front counter personnel. It's was noon on 1/25 but there wasn't much of a lunch rush. Everything was great till I got my food and have to say the gizzards were really bland. Which I enjoy my food being seasoned and even lightly is ok but this was just plain and can be. I ordered the fries as a side and sadly they weren't much better as far as taste. You expect your crinkle fries to have some crispy to them but these were like they were cooked in a oven and possibly not long enough. So sadly the food was maybe a 2 out of 5 , if that. Hopefully it was just an off day idk. Of course the gentleman at the register made the visit alot better and helped me deal with the food easier. He was great so that helped ease the fact the food was terrible for me.

Chicken Express done lost their minds with these prices yall.I might could understand if you got 2 sides with your combo.But $22 for 7 tenders, bread, 1 side, and a drink, is OUTRAGEOUS.
