I cannot brag enough on this business. First time experience was fantastic. I called on a Friday requesting 25 lunch plates to-go for the next business day morning. They were ready and boxed exactly for the time I requested. And to be honest, the food was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for the incredible customer service!

Food was nasty.i ordered the chicken& rib plate, potatoes salad& baked beans and rice dressing.first of all the don't have rice dressing it's season rice with very small pieces of pork bake beans is pinto beans. Chicken skin was hard meat was over hard and dry how they got it like that is anyone's guess.ribs tasted like the boiled them them put on put to add smoke flavor fatty part of the rib was undercooked.potato salad tasted like stor brought with chunks of potatoes not mashed..rice was floating in bbq sauce all wet and nasty and I paid 16.50 plus tax first and last time going there!!

I gave this place a chance after reading reviews and I definitely regret it. I ordered 2 link sandwiches. I don’t know what type of sauce they use, but it is definitely not barbecue sauce. I’ve never tasted anything like it. It kind of tastes like they drizzled brown gravy over the link. It also was salty. The ends of the links were burnt. Not worth the $15 I spent. Probably won’t be back.

Lunch bought for me was the upside. Never had BBQ taste like that. Awful smoke taste. There was chicken, ribs, potato salad, dirty rice. With every bite was worse. Will not try again.

Born and raised in Beaumont. Patillo's food used to be A1 back in the day. Went in last week and bought a Chopped Beef Sandwich. By far the worst chopped beef sandwich I've ever had. Ot was pretty esrly in the shift so tue beef had to be from the day before, soggy and overcooked. Will be frequented Broussard's from now on.

My coworkers and I were looking for a place as good as 1701, but maybe not as expensive. We got on Google and we're led here, where the looks of the place we're promising, with the old pits in the back. The prices looked reasonable, so I ordered the beef, which was brisket and ribs to go. When I sat down to eat and opened the container, I was perplexed as to what I was looking at. I did not remember ordering a stew, brisket stew much the less. I asked my coworkers and they also had the same strange dish that was supposed to be brisket. NEVER again, I'll pay for 1701 to get quality Barbque.

I am very disappointed in Patillos. I was a student at LU and ate there during my college years. I would frequent the restaurant after college when passing through Beaumont or visiting old friends. Recently a relative was on their way back to Houston coming from Louisiana passing through Beaumont. Since they knew i liked Beaumont style links they called and asked if they wanted me to pick up a dozen…to make a long story short when they got to houston and I unwrapped the packaging Patillos only gave me 10 links which is 2 short…I’m busy. Two links and Patillos is not at the top of my list of things to do so i ended up calling then 5 days later to let them know that they cheated me. They said i should have called the same day and I actually did but they were closed. It was a Saturday and they close at 6 and since my order had to come from Beaumont to houston I didn’t get it until around 8pm. I spoke to Quincy the manager about the issue and he is the one who told me I should’ve called back the same day but he said he would give the owner my number and he would call me. It’s been two days…I’m still waiting on that call. I will be doing business with Broussard’s or Gerard’s from now on and I suggest you do the same.

The food was too heavy in grease, which made me sick. I want pork ribs, but I got the the tips and they were real fatty. It's not like it use to be.

This is a great local bbq place where you can find a wide variety of meat, sides, and homemade desserts. The staff are all genuinely nice and the food comes out hot and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big! This establishment has been around for a long time! Support local!Parking: There is plenty of parking. The lot is not paved.Kid-friendliness: They welcome all families!Wheelchair accessibility: One story establishment and no raised curbs
