This place was highly recommended to me, because I'm from New Orleans and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fish and shrimp! I have now visited Sam's twice in Beaumont, TX...I have had the seafood FRIED and GRILLED. I can honestly say it is DELICIOUS, and it's the closest taste to NOLA food that I've ever experienced in TeXas. I truly ENJOYED every bite, it was SEASONED perfectly, the STRING BEANS are also cooked perfectly...and I APPRECIATED my plates being cooked FRESH to order.

The food is ?but they have to be losing money on the portion sizes. They need to give half or even just a third and the portion sizes would be perfect. They give way too much and have like normal prices.

This is our first time at this location. We eat at the one in Nacogdoches regularly. The staff could use a lesson from the Nacogdoches folk as to making customers feel welcome and simple customer service.The atmosphere is dark and the floors were sticky.The food was fabulous but the overall experience was so poor we will stick with the location in Nacogdoches.

Ordered online through Google and my order was ready when I walked in the door. Food was hor and very good. I guess they were out of one of the sides but they gave us an extra piece of fish and shrimp, I'm not mad about that!!! Well worth it, highly recommended.
