We were craving some good Texas BBQ and this place surely did not disappoint. We got the short rib plate and a pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw. It’s all worth trying. Family owned and ran for over 100 years and it’s clear they continuously create delicious bbq. We will come here again!

BBQ, Ordered BBQ Chicken. Potato Salad, and Green Beans with Half & Half Tea.There’s was good,The chicken was dry over 75%.The potato salad was disappointing. The Green beans - a 5 out of 10.I have lived home and abroad and have always remember my youth and the favorite food places. Pattillo’s barbecue was always one of them. So was Mr. hotdog, which I mistakenly thought it was Portillo’s also until my big sister finally made me understand the difference today.I tip the worker. She was nice. But I wouldn’t out of tip this much if I had a taste of the food first. I would have returned it before coming back to Houston but I missed the exit and didn’t want to turn around.I was starving because I had not had breakfast and food you taste marvelous when you get hungry. Very disappointing. Especially after waiting so many years. But I remember the Pattillo’s were very nice family.

I've been eating at Patillo's since I could walk and it is as good as it was back then. Everything on the menu taste outstanding and is cooked to perfection. This food is sooooo good it should be against the law.

Such a cool place! A BBQ place established in 1912 with so much charm. The owner greeted us at the door and his brother gave us the history of the restaurant. The portions were large so make sure you’re hungry! And the sweet tea- oh my goodness! It’s just the kind of place you’d hope to run into on a road trip.

The service was great! The food tasted wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the loose sausage link, but I ended up taking off the sausage casing and the meat inside was something I never had before and it was great.

Patillo’s is an amazing spot. The Beaumont style sausage links were a heavenly treat. The jambalaya was rich and flavor. Tender ribs and great potato salad. Definitely a whole different vibe with East Texas BBQ
The ribs are great and the potato salad is too! The rice is one of the best I've had. The legendary BBQ sauce is off the hook. I recommend this BBQ spot to any and everybody who loves BBQ!!! ENJOY GUYS! <3

The boudain was great, and not dried out, the brisket had a great flavor and consistency, although the sausage was inconsistent in flavor and doneness, there were parts that were overcooked to the point of being burnt and the flavor varied throughout the link. But for the most part, the sausage was also good.
