Always love going to Waffle Houses. Foods always good and the people are always nice. Admitingly I was a little disappointed with no chair catching, no managers throwin bows or no twerkin by the cooks like Tiktoks and Instagrams (Lol) but always good food and service.

Haven't been to a Waffle House in a while. Disappointed with the waffle. It has shrunk! It's a lot thinner than they used to be. Taste was good but it was lacking because it was so thin. Seems to be smaller in diameter as well. Had a hash brown all the way and that was great! Don't think I'll be getting a waffle there anymore but will definitely get the hash browns! Server seemed bothered that we were there and didn't pay much attention to us. The greeting hostess was great!

This review isn't so much about the quality of the food more about how they do things. I ordered hash browns with my order and my wife's, well grits were brought instead. The part I don't understand, is why they take your whole order away to replace the item that was messed up? Why not just leave the Grits on the plate and let you start eating your breakfast instead of taking the whole thing away and letting it get cold. It just doesn't make any sense. I mean they're going to throw it away anyway so why not just leave it on the plate and get a side dish of the right item? I mean it's not like you're trying to take advantage and get something extra but I mean you just want hot food. My local Waffle House does the same thing the one in Lumberton. They'll take the whole meal away to replace something that was messed up and by the time you get it it's cold it's cuckoo.
