Giving 4 stars simple because of parking- sports season its extra busy on the weekend due to field across the road but despite there is not enough parking for the dedicated lot. Encourage parking in the plaza to the right if you don't mind a short walk.Parking: Minimal dedicate restaurant parking. Recommend parking in shared lot with short walk.

Twisted Root Burger Co. Is a great place to get a Great burger. I recommend the 'shroom, if that's your thing. A side of fried grn bns and carrots is amazing. Throw in a shake and prepare to meet the "Burger Gods." Also, the help is awesome, and the Manager is a Sweetheart. Thanks for the fun.

Surprisingly bad burger. I’ve had Twisted Root a number of times over the last 15 years but it’s been a while. Ordered to go and picked up on the way home just now.First, it was ready about 10-15 minutes after we were told. The fried pickles were the thing we had to wait for, which ironically, was the only really good thing about the meal. My wife’s burger was pretty good, but my burger and the fries felt and tasted like they had been sitting a while. The fries weren’t not crispy.The real disappointment was the burger. I could’ve forgiven all of this if the burger was good. But it was SO dry. The burger looked medium well, but tasted well-done. No flavor. No moisture. I had to add like 7 fried pickles and mustard out of my fridge to make it fine.I honestly can’t remember the last time I threw away food. I tossed about half. Really disappointed in the food and service. It may have been better had we not waited the extra time.
3 stars all the way. Mediocre burger spot. Wouldn’t be my first choice. Or second.

The Menu is fun and makes it hard to choose what to order when you wanna order everything. The decor is fun and quirky. Instead of leaving your name or giving you a number you're given a fun name like "Mr fantastic" or "Mrs robinson" lol. The food hit the spot too. Especially loved the fried green beans and carrots. Loved the option to swap the beef patty for unusual alternatives like game meat or Buffalo.
