Wasn’t expecting much so that was perfect. I wanted tamales for the holidays so my friend suggested this place since he works close by. I went there to have a tasting only and ended up buying 4 dz. I would wish that the chicken was more substantial but overall, delicious. I wanted to try the Spinach and Cheese but friends devoured it before I could get to it. Will update after my order is completed Friday.
We bought 5 different kinds of tamales today. They all are excellent, perfect size,not too much masa ,perfect amount of meat in each one.One of the best tamales in Houston!!!!!Parking: Parked right there ..

Love these tamales so much! I love that they are gluten free and do not contain lard. They have several vegetarian options and they even have a vegan option if you call ahead and pickup in store. There is a store front in Bellaire and they can be found at many local farmers markets in Houston. The sauce that accompanies the tamales is absolutely fantastic! Run, don't walk and grab yourself some Momma's tamales!
