My husband and I have came here for years and always had a good experience until tonight. My son's pizza looked like something you would feed to your dogs, and my husband's order was all wrong. Definitely not happy with our experience tonight.

I love picking people's brains about places we should try. It just so happened that my barber suggested El Mexicano. It is her favorite spot and she said you have to go for the drink special. Well, I marked it down as a must do and then needed to find a place that night to take the wife.I can understand her mentioning the drinks as it comprises the first 3 pages of the menu. So, they take it seriously. They also take their salsas seriously. In the picture you will see their house salsa, bean dip and a spicier salsa served warm. The trio hits each of your needs from refreshing to heat.We ordered a chimichanga with fajita beef (covered in queso and gravy) and a Texas quesadilla with fajita beef. The quesadilla is quite a bit of food and had a good sear on the meat. The chimichanga was good, gravy excellent and that hotter salsa hit the spot.Our server was awesome and we will undoubtedly be back to try some more of the menu...and maybe even some drinks.

The breakfast taco was delicious but my rating goes down to a 2 star because their website lists the price per taco was $1.64, but they charged $2.60 per taco because they said the website is wrong and needs to be updated. They would not honor the price on the website.

I have been coming to the restaurant for many years but today I had the worst experience to not return and not recommend it anymore. I drove 45 minutes for them not to serve me well the most rude and despotic morning yesterday, believing herself to be the owner of the restaurant, I ordered some enchiladas of mole and a pork chop and when they brought me the plate they just put the enchiladas and rice and the beans, the lettuce was missing, tomato and cream, and when I told the manager where the rest was, he told me how you asked for some chops above because that doesn't bother him They put nothing more and he was still laughing then the person who served us came and said that this is how it is yesterday that everyone is complaining about eya. I hope and the owner, or see the comment and do something because in years that I have been to this they have never restored us They had been treated like this and I have photos of what they gave

I went in today 11/15/21 to have lunch I ordered a chicken mole plate and after 15 min. They came and told me that the mole was not ready so I ordered a taco plate which the mole plate was 11.00 dollars and the taco plate was around $ 8.00 dollars and at check out they were going to charge me the meal I didnt have and the waitress double checked it and still didn't say a word it may take me time to go back or maybe I won't go back

Upon my arrival, I waited for 12 minutes before receiving any acknowledgment. Upon receiving my tortilla soup order, I noticed they had placed the tortilla chips in the soup, resulting in them becoming soggy by the time I got home. I enjoy the crunch of tortilla chips and didn't get to enjoy them.

Better than the Mexicano Grille in Temple off the loop, but not as good as the one on Midway. This place is a solid choice.
