“Spur of the moment roadtrip took us to Ben Wheeler and we came across this gem! The food was great! We had fried pickles, loaded potatoes, wings and a salad. Best fried pickles we have ever had! Everyone was extremely friendly. It is an hour from where we live and will be well worth the drive to go back.“

“Friends brought a group out to The Forge for a friends/family dinner. They told us there was live music and great food. They were telling us nothing less than the truth! The service was amazing, from order taking all the way to delivery of food and drinks! This place was a full house and still delivered exceptional service and food. We had drinks, chips and salsa along with a bunch of pizzas. Every pizza was cooked to perfection with an ample amount of toppings. It's been a long time since I've been to a place that can hold their own when they have a full house. This place did not disappoint and is so worth the drive. The live music was great and not too loud. You could still hold a conversation at the table. I highly recommend anyone to make the trip here and enjoy! I will definitely be returning. This has moved to the top of my list to bring guests that visit me in Dallas.“

“Such a gem of a winery and a must visit if you live in East Texas or are just passing through. Owners Rip and Cindy are always there to greet and visit with their guests. Wine is fantastic with our favorite white being the Blanc du bois and red the Lamanto. The meat, fruit and cheese platters can serve as dinner. Live music many weekends, highly recommend.“
