Coffee Shops in Blessing

“On a recent trip down to the coast we made a plan to stop in Blessing to eat at this historic place and it did not disappoint. We were greeted as we walked in and were told to "Grab a plate and help yourself." Lunch was a large buffet with enchiladas, tamales, fried fish and all sorts of homemade sides. It would be very difficult to find food this good for only $14 a person. It is cash only so be prepared when you come.“

“Hidden gem! ?My husband brought me here to fatten me up! Or at least it felt that way. Ms. Helen is an amazing cook and reminds me of why food is better cook in cast iron. Best cabbage I've ever had, great fried chicken, and amazing preach cobbler.We took a 40 minute detour just to eat there. It was a rainy Sunday for the lunch buffet and it was still packed with people. Ms. Helen is at the cashier greeting and remember to bring cash!“
