“1st time I have been there. 2 birthday parties going on. Great place for kids to play while adults socialize. Had live music and it was decent. Beer/wine venue. Food truck was available and very long wait as one party had 60 guests. I was the only person wearing a mask.“
“It's Christmas Eve, my wife and I went out for a drive and ended up at Free Roam Brewing Company, first off, Boerne TX is a great little spot to visit. The place was busy, football on all the TVs and plenty of seating inside and out. Nothing in terms of food here, good thing we stopped at Buc-ees on the way in. Chips and cookies were available, we stopped for the beers. Service was great, they stayed busy the entire time we were here. Good beer selection, and a friendly crowd. This place is a long way from home but honestly worth the trip.“

“We really like this place. The beer we had was tasty but I noticed the selection was dwindling. The sandwiches are always good. I had the Italian sandwich but I got a bite of the BLT and was definitely jealous. The bacon wasn’t stacked high but man it was good.If I could wish for a few things it might be appetizers (Brussel sprouts), a full bar (Boerne needs more of these), and access to the balcony, just saying.“

“Very nice place to hangout. The food was average. I wasn't impressed. I had the shrimp soup and it was very salty. I also had the birria tacos and nothing great to say about them either. The beer and wine selections is decent. For the most part the place is great for atmosphere and food just to take your hunger away. Food is okay. The service was good. You order when you come in the. You take your number and sit. The guys was friendly and helpful at the register. I'll come back again.“

“Amazing lunch guys! Sunday lunch might be the best time to go to the duck. The weather was beautiful and the music was down right soulful. The Noah Peterson Trio played some of our favorite jazz titles along with some originals of their own.The beer is definitely the best in town. Very crisp, clean, and full of flavor. The peach beer and the pecan were our favorites. The wife had the Cobb salad and it never disappoints, very satisfying. I was craving sauerkraut and potato salad and then I looked down and saw they are both options on the sausage plate! I mean, yes please. The sausage was amazing. They had a very tasty sauce that was mustard based but was mixed with raspberries, I think, on point. The potato salad is one of the best. They also add a fresh baked pretzel with cheese sauce. My only disappointment was that I had to choose between the sauerkraut and the potato salad. This was my closest to Christ moment for the week, enjoying life and all it’s beauty at the Duck.“

“Solid! Just wish I could get grilled onions ;) That’d be the cherry on top of a nostalgic and delicious experience. Go ahead and indulge a little too - get the milkshake, you won’t be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free so I just got lettuce wrap.“

“Congratulations and a huge thank you to Owner Don Kretz, Dave and the crew for giving Boerne area a fabulous, family friendly pub.28 Songs is a real destination wirh THE best selection of beers anywhere. The kitchen too, turns out excellent no-substitutes food. This is an out-of-park homerun. And with the many large screens streaming sports and more, you can actually have a conversation not having to compete as in other places that push screamin electronic g audio levels.Cheers ya'll.Art Humphries“
