“Smoke in the Hills catered my friend's wedding this weekend. Not only was the food and beverages fantastic (definitely have their strawberry lemonade!), but they remained onsite for the duration of the event. Instead of disappearing the moment the food service was completed, they were constantly coming through the room picking up empty plates and cups. We were seated right next to where they were serving but didn't even notice when they moved the drink station from one place to another as they made no noise whatsoever. Their staff were all friendly and attentive and the food was fabulous! I only wish they had a storefront location.... I need some more of that potato salad.“
“I work right down the highway from Chilito's and pass by it every day. I never knew the glorious food I was missing out on. If you're ever driving through Boerne be sure to stop by. I do recommend their burrito and this isn't on their menu but you can ask for a tamale bowl which is just 4 tamales on a bed of their rice (which btw is divine) and refried beans topped with a cheese sauce. It's a simple dish but their poblano sauce (kika sauce) just brings it to another level. They also sell their tamales by the dozen... to take home. I'm definitely stopping by on my lunch break more often.“

“We came all the way from Taiwan to see the eclipse and to attend the wedding of a friend. Lunch at Hungry Horse is absolutely icing on the cake. We ordered grilled chicken salad and chicken fried steak with mash potato and onion rings. The food is very delicious and the side dishes are easily the best I ever had.“

“Absolutely excellent! From the people to the cookies themselves! Even have gluten free options that taste phenomenal. I will Continue to rave about opal and onyx!!Dietary restrictions: The owner goes above and beyond to make sure those with an allergy can participate too! So much attention to detail.“
