My wife, her sister, and I enjoyed the great hospitality and food here today. Outstanding catfish specials at very, very reasonable prices. Huge fillets, good sides, and pinto beans that I wanted to sneak out the door. EVERY employee, minus the cooks, came to the table to check on us and the other patrons. So commendable. Being an old Yellowjacket in Bulldog country was really pleasant today. Keep up the great results. You are most appreciated by us.
My family and I stopped for a quick meal before leaving Brady, and the only thing that comes to mind is Country Family Diner. Feels like home as for the food. I personally got the chicken fried steak and loved every bit of it 10/10. My father and grandfather got the chicken stripes. My father said it was more bread than chicken and no bbq sauce, but he said a good 7/10 also loved the cole slaw 10/10. My grandfather had no opinion, which is normal but overall, will definitely stop if ever in the area for a bite.
Normally when we go it is amazing, but this time the catfish was way too hard, I was missing my bottom bun on my burger. The green beans weren’t fully cooked.And the sodas were flat.. hope it’s better next time
