Called in our order. Got the brisket grilled cheese and an order of Texas Twinkies. The grilled cheese were excellent!! Very rich, one of my all time faves. The first two Texas Twinkies were very good (They come in an order of three) the third one….im sad to say was rancid tasting. I hate posting this but, it is what it is. It won’t stop me from ordering , but dang I hated that.

Armadillo eggs…. Hahah! Brisket. Wrapped with cream cheese, jalepeno, and bacon outer crust. I’d give the brisket a solid rating- and the bacon was both seasoned and cooked well. Wish the smoke was just a little heavier to them.I was slightly taken aback at the pricing. The serving of three was $12. I think I would have elected for one. Maybe a second at that price.The boudin was a spicy link- and it was indeed. Great heat- good flavor. Looking for a little more smoke- but was certainly edible.Overall- great plate. Price surprised me. $21 for this tray.

Last night when my family and I were on our way to Tyler TX to visit my Grandparents and family, we had a tire blow out on 288. TWO good Samaritans pulled over and risked their lives to come to our rescue! We called the Wal-Mart tire center who agreed to stay open past their normal hours just to help us on our journey and replace our tire. After the service was finished we were told that our two front tires were worse than the one that blew out. We were devastated that we would not make it to our family's Thanksgiving gathering this year.This morning, Thanksgiving Day, we remembered about a fb post we saw weeks ago about a restaurant who was offering free Thanksgiving plates to those who had no where to go on Thanksgiving. We decided it was worth checking out and we showed up here at Kenjos, scared and unsure if it was a prank, and we left with tears in our eyes and an entire THANKSGIVING FEAST, FULL HAM INCLUDED!! WE CAN NOT THANK GOD AND THESE AMAZING PEOPLE ENOUGH FOR BLESSING OUR FAMILY BEYOND MEASURE!!!??? ?????? KENJOS, YOU WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS "GODS KITCHEN" TO MY FAMILY!!**Side note: The food was absolutely phenomenal!!!**MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!

Honest opinion. Place is sub par. Was it bad? No... Not really. Did I enjoy the food? No.. not really.Mac n cheese was good. That said, I was there for bbq not side dishes.
