“So, my first review of 2024 is a winner! One of the crews kept telling me, you got to eat at Sissy's when you go to Breckenridge. OMG, this place is the true definition of hole in the wall. The outside is NOT pretty, but the parking lot was full. We went inside and grabbed a table. You could tell everyone was local, cause everybody greeted everybody. We gazed at the menu, but both ordered the daily special. With only one cook, it took a while, but boy was it worth it! Every bite was true country style home cooking. The chicken fry meat was fresh, the mashed potatoes just a tad lumpy, with delicious thick cream gravy on both. The cheese covered broccoli was steamed perfectly. We both only managed to eat half, and the rest was to go. But we're not done yet. The chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing was wonderful! AND, the division manager I was with bought my lunch. Score! Thanks boss! Not that you will EVER be in Breckenridge, Texas, but if you are, Sissy's is well worth the stop. That's right Guy, GO!“
“Blackhorse is always top notch!! All of the employees are friendly and know their business! Most of the live entertainment is great, however the entertainment last night fell below the standards we are accustomed to at Blackhorse. I did speak to the manager about small children running up and down the staircase unsupervised, After I witnessed one, small child fall down. OK“
“I hadn't been to Ken's in years, but I was hungry for fish and this is the place. I had the seafood platter with three shrimp and three catfish strips. It was just what I wanted. The fish was perfectly done, and the shrimp was not overcooked. The Cole slaw was tasty and they are famous for their puff biscuits served with honey. I'm not going to wait so long before I go back!“
“ate here last night for the first time. i ordered the super bowl and fried pickles. it was absolutely DELICIOUS. the super bowl is huge as well. it could easily make 3-4 meals. i ate half of it at the restaurant and got more than full (granted im pregnant so im sure a normal person could even make this thing into 4 meals) ? just had it for lunch today as well and still have another portion left to eat later!“
“4th of july 2023. If you missed It you missed out. food was awesome?Everybody was having a great time. The fireworks display was 1st rate, a 30 min celebration of Freedom, it looked like Grand Finally all the way through. Make plans for 2024 Or your Miss out again.“
“Enjoyed it a lot! Was our first time to try it, as we were passing through town. The waitress was very sweet and made a great suggestion to try the coco special plate. Then to add to a great experience a local paid for our meal! Great food, great service, and welcoming community.“
“Good pizza. We ordered to-go: medium unlimited toppings with 2 drinks for $10.99! They also have a buffet we would have enjoyed if it wasn't so late. They will make the kind of pizza you want for the buffet pretty quick. Definitely worth a try and I'm sure you'll like it also!“
