I was there w/the Lady Lions. *RRROARR!* ?The Cannery: is Clean. Has friendly & attentive staff. Buffet. Great, well seasoned but not overly seasoned food (salad; mashed potatoes; broccoli; ribs...RIBS! YUM!!!).
I have eaten at the Cannery a few times in the last couple of years and it was okay. Well now the has been a turnover and an upgrade in the kitchen. One of our local high end chef's has offered her service and has trained the kitchen staff and upgraded the menu. All in all the cannery is a buffet style lunch in an open atmosphere. I gave this an overall rating of right down the middle because the previous reviews do not really tell the whole story. It's not wholey a buffet, more of a cafeteria line. The food is home style and the day we visited there were 2 choices of meat, 2 of vegetable, a starch (mash potatoes that were very good), a salad bar, a piece of pie and tea.
