Word of mouth is the best advertising I always say. Well, they didn't lie Pops BBQ is a great place to eat, they have some very good tasting BBQ. Tried slice beef sandwich great flavor, my wife had chopped beef sandwich it was amazing ?. Can't wait to go back and try the chicken, as you walk up to order you can smell that delicious aroma of BBQ. If you love BBQ then go try this place they also make homemade desserts, don't take my word for it go by there and tell them how you want to taste some awesome BBQ. I will go back and try out the menu items myself and my family
Best brisket in the universe. 3 lb baked potato with brisket and all the trimmings make close to a 5 lb dish from heaven. The term "shack" is being generous, it is a true ramshackle place. The food is amazing and only available 11am to 2pm....if you're lucky. Today the potatoes were gone before noon. It is a 2 hr round trip, so we call before leaving. Once you have driven an hour and dreamt about that brisket only to find they are out, is heartbreaking.

There's a reason why this place sells out really fast, that's because the food is so good. The most popular item is the Suicide baked potato, and for good reason because it's got everything on it that you'll love and them some. So, if you want to get anything, you'd better go early.

If you can stand the flies and a building that looks like it's going to collapse at any moment, it's some very good eats. I got a Suicide Spud and it was undoubtably the best baked potato I've ever had. It's more meat than potato, which is exactly what I'm after. Very filling at a good price. You'll probably want to eat in your car, though.Parking: Small lot but big enough for the place. Street parking right nearby if the lot ever fills. Easy to miss if you're not paying attention, however; look closely, or you might have to loop the block.

Not bad at all! I was in search of a tasty potato, and I came to the right place. The parking lot is a bit torn up, but thankfully there was room to park on the side of the road. The employees were super friendly, and the fact that everything is outdoors is nice. It felt good to sip on my sweet tea with the sun hitting my back. I will definitely be back, and I may even try something else next time. The meat on my potato was super yummy and had lots of flavor.
